What this workflow does
New students often want to know where to start and how to reach you. A short, personal note from the course owner can answer both before they ask. This workflow sends that note from your own Gmail inbox.
A run starts each time a new member is added to one of your DropFunnels courses. FlowMattic passes the member's details to Gmail, and Send Email sends a message to the address you map, normally the member's email. You write the subject and body after import, using the member's name or the course they joined where the data has it.
Each new course member gets one email. Because it comes from your Gmail account, replies land in your inbox, where you can answer questions directly. Task History logs each send, so you can check who was welcomed.

Questions about this workflow
Does DropFunnels still send its own emails?
Yes. This workflow only adds a Gmail email. Any messages DropFunnels sends for course access are not changed.
Will members added before import get the Gmail welcome?
No. Only course members created while the workflow is on receive it.
Can the welcome email from Gmail include a link to the course?
Yes. Type the link into the message body, or map it from the DropFunnels data if your test run shows one.
What if a DropFunnels member is added twice?
Each Course Member Created event starts a run, so that person would get a welcome email each time.
