When a new file is submitted to SendSafely Dropzone, create an item in monday.com
When someone submits a file through your SendSafely Hosted Dropzone, this workflow creates an item on the monday.com board you pick, so each incoming file becomes a piece of work your team can assign.

What this workflow does
A Hosted Dropzone is a safe place for clients to send you files, but nobody on your team knows a file arrived unless they check. If your work is planned in monday.com, a new item is the natural way to flag it. This workflow creates that item for each submission.
The SendSafely trigger fires when a new file is submitted to your Hosted Dropzone. FlowMattic passes the submission details to Monday.com, where Create Item adds a new item to the board you choose. You set the item name and column values from the submission data.
The template has no step that copies the file anywhere, so the file itself stays in SendSafely, where your team opens it as usual. The monday.com item is the alert and the place to track the work. Every submission gives one new item, and Task History logs each run.
Accountants receiving tax documents
Clients upload statements to the Dropzone, and each upload appears as an item on the intake board for a preparer to pick up.
Legal teams collecting evidence
Files sent through the Dropzone create items that a paralegal assigns and tracks until the documents are reviewed.
HR onboarding paperwork
New hires submit signed forms securely, and the HR board shows an item for each one so nothing waits unnoticed.

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Submit a test file to the Dropzone after import so FlowMattic captures what SendSafely sends, then decide which details belong in the item name.
- Add a Slack or email step after monday.com if the person who handles new files doesn't watch the board all day.
- Put new items in a dedicated group on the board, such as Incoming files, so they are easy to triage.

No. The template only creates an item. The file stays in SendSafely, and your team opens it there.
Where do the SendSafely items show up in monday.com?
On whichever board you pick in the Create Item step once the template is imported. You can change it at any time without changing the trigger.
Does every Dropzone submission create a monday.com item?
Yes. There is no condition in the template, so each new submission runs the monday.com step once.
