When a new lead is identified in Happierleads, create a new lead in HubSpot CRM
Each lead that Happierleads identifies from your website traffic is created as a contact in HubSpot CRM, using the lead details you map, so your sales team can work it from the CRM they already use.

What this workflow does
Happierleads tells you about visitors to your website who would otherwise stay anonymous. Those leads are only useful if sales actually works them, and that usually happens in HubSpot, not in a separate dashboard. This workflow moves each identified lead into HubSpot as a contact.
Each run starts when Happierleads reports a visitor it has newly identified as a lead. The lead data Happierleads sends becomes available to map. The HubSpot CRM step uses Create Contact, so each lead becomes a contact record with the properties you fill from that data. The "new lead in HubSpot CRM" named in the title is that contact.
Create Contact only adds records. It does not look for an existing contact first, so HubSpot may refuse a lead whose email address is already in your CRM, and Task History shows the response. What a lead contains depends on what Happierleads identified, so run a test and check which fields arrive before you map them.
Sales follow-up on website visitors
A B2B company's sales reps work from HubSpot. Each lead Happierleads finds appears as a contact they can assign, call or email from the CRM.
Agency reporting on campaign traffic
An agency runs ads to a client's site and uses Happierleads to identify visitors. The leads land in the client's HubSpot, where both teams can see them.
Weekly review of new visitor contacts
Marketing reviews the contacts Happierleads added to HubSpot each week and decides which visitors to reach out to.

What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Happierleads AccountAccount
- HubSpot CRM AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Run a test after import so FlowMattic captures a real Happierleads lead, then check which details it holds before mapping them to HubSpot properties.
- Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when the field holding an email address is not empty, if you only want contacts you can email.
- To log the visiting company as well, add HubSpot's Create Company action after the contact step and map the company details from the same lead.
Questions about this workflow
What kind of HubSpot record does each Happierleads lead become?
A contact. The step is HubSpot's Create Contact action, so each Happierleads lead becomes a contact record in your CRM.
What if the Happierleads lead is already a HubSpot contact?
This step never edits a contact that is already in HubSpot. HubSpot may refuse a duplicate email address, and Task History shows the response for that run.
Will every Happierleads lead include a person's email?
That depends on what Happierleads identified for that visitor. Run a test, look at the fields the trigger delivers, and add a Filter if you need an email for every contact.
Are leads identified before import copied to HubSpot?
No. Only leads Happierleads identifies while the workflow is turned on start a run.
