What this workflow does
Heyflow builds the interactive, multi-step funnels that collect your leads. FunnelKit Automations runs the follow-up emails on your WordPress site. Without a link between them, you export responses and import them as contacts. This workflow creates the FunnelKit contact for each response as it comes in.
The Heyflow trigger starts a run each time someone completes your funnel and Heyflow records the response. FlowMattic receives the answers and passes them to Autonami, where Create New Contact adds the person to FunnelKit Automations. You map the respondent's email and any name fields from the Heyflow answers.
Every response creates a contact, with no check in between. If someone answers your flow twice, FunnelKit Automations decides how it treats an email it already holds. Test with a known address and look at the result in Task History.

- Add a second step with FunnelKit's Add Tags to Contact after the create step, so contacts from Heyflow carry a tag you can start an automation from.
- Add a Filter after the trigger if only some answers should become contacts, for example respondents who picked a budget range you serve.
Questions about this workflow
What happens if the Heyflow respondent is already a FunnelKit contact?
The step is Create New Contact, and FunnelKit Automations handles an existing email in its own way. Submit a test with an address that is already a contact and check Task History for the response.
Can I start a FunnelKit automation from this?
FunnelKit runs its automations on its own events. One way is to tag the contact in a later step and have your FunnelKit automation start from that tag.
Do I need FunnelKit Automations on the same site as FlowMattic?
Yes. Autonami is a WordPress plugin, so it must be installed on the site where FlowMattic runs for the contact to be created.
Are earlier Heyflow responses imported?
No. Only responses created after the workflow is on reach FunnelKit Automations.
