Brainstorms in Stormboard produce plenty of ideas, but they need to reach the place where work is planned. If your team plans in an Airtable base laid out like a Trello board, someone has to copy each sticky note over and then tell the others. This workflow does both for every new idea.
The Stormboard trigger fires when a new idea is created and passes on its details. FlowMattic creates a record in Airtable in the base and table you choose, with the idea's details mapped to your fields. A status or stage field can be set to a fixed value, so new ideas start in the first column of your kanban view. Then the Discord step posts a message to the channel you pick.
Every new idea runs all three steps. A busy session can produce many records and messages, so send the Discord posts to a channel meant for them. The board layout itself is your own Airtable setup; this workflow only adds records to it.

- Run one test idea after import, then check Task History to see the Stormboard fields before you finish mapping Airtable and Discord.

Do I need a Trello account for this Stormboard workflow?
No. Trello-style here means an Airtable base you view as a kanban board. The records are created in Airtable, and Trello is not involved.
Are edits to a Stormboard idea copied to Airtable later?
No. The trigger only fires for new ideas. Changes made to an idea afterwards do not update the Airtable record.
