What this workflow does
People often sign up to a newsletter with a personal address, while your sales team would rather reach them at work. If your Acumbamail list collects names and a company website, you can ask Tomba for the work address the moment they subscribe. This workflow does that lookup and keeps the results in a spreadsheet you can work from.
A run begins each time a person is added as a subscriber to one of your Acumbamail lists. FlowMattic sends the subscriber's details to Tomba, whose Find Email action retrieves the most likely email address from a domain name, a first name and a last name. The last step adds a row in Google Sheets with the subscriber data and whatever Tomba returned.
Tomba needs all three inputs, so your list must collect a first name, a last name and a company domain. A subscriber who leaves one out gets no useful result from Tomba, and Task History shows what Tomba returned for that run. The template does not change the subscriber in Acumbamail.

- Add a Filter between the Acumbamail trigger and the Tomba step that continues only when the company domain field is not empty. Subscribers without one then get no lookup and no sheet row.
- Follow the Find Email step with Tomba's Verify Email action and add its result as another column, so you can see whether the found address checks out.
- If your list stores a full website address rather than a bare domain, check a test run in Task History to see what Tomba returns before relying on the sheet.
Questions about this workflow
What does my Acumbamail list need to collect for Tomba to work?
A first name, a last name and a company domain, as Tomba's Find Email action uses all three. Without them Tomba has nothing to search on, so there is no address for it to find.
Does the workflow replace the subscriber's email in Acumbamail?
No. Nothing is written back to Acumbamail. The address Tomba finds only goes to the Google Sheets row.
What if Tomba can't find an address for the Acumbamail subscriber?
Its response for that subscriber won't hold a found address. Task History shows exactly what Tomba returned, so check a few runs to see how a miss looks before you sort or filter the sheet.
Are existing subscribers looked up?
No. The trigger fires when a new subscriber enters the list, so only people who join after you turn the workflow on are sent to Tomba.
