When new feedback is received in SatisMeter, add the feedback to a Google Sheets spreadsheet

Each time a customer answers a SatisMeter survey, this workflow adds their feedback to a new row in Google Sheets, so scores and comments collect in one spreadsheet your whole team can read.

SatisMeter Google Sheets

2 steps Setup ~5 min Used on 1.8k sites Free to import

The When new feedback is received in SatisMeter, add the feedback to a Google Sheets spreadsheet workflow on the FlowMattic canvas, with 2 steps across SatisMeter, Google Sheets
The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

SatisMeter collects in-app survey answers such as NPS scores and comments. The product, support and leadership teams who want to read them don't all have a SatisMeter login, and comparing answers across months means exporting data. A spreadsheet that fills itself is easier to share and to work with.

The SatisMeter New Feedback trigger fires when a new feedback response is received. FlowMattic passes the response data to Google Sheets, and the Add New Row action writes it to the spreadsheet you choose. You map which values go in which column, for example the score, the comment and whatever user details SatisMeter includes.

Each response becomes one row as it arrives. From there you can chart scores over time, sort by the lowest ratings or share a filtered view with the people who act on them. Every run is recorded in Task History.

NPS tracking for a SaaS product

A product manager keeps every SatisMeter NPS answer in a Google Sheet and charts the monthly average for the team's review meeting.

Support follow-up list

The support lead sorts the sheet by score each morning and contacts customers whose SatisMeter comments describe a problem.

Feature request log

Comments from SatisMeter surveys land in the sheet, where the product team tags each one with the feature it mentions.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    SatisMeter New Feedback

Fires when SatisMeter receives a new feedback response. The response data, such as the score and comment, is passed on for mapping into the sheet.

  2. Step 2Action
    Google Sheets Add New Row

Adds a row to the Google Sheets spreadsheet you pick for each SatisMeter response. Map the score, comment and any other values to columns, and connect your Google account.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • SatisMeter AccountAccount
  • Google Sheets AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Answer a SatisMeter survey yourself after import so FlowMattic captures a sample response. You can then see every value before mapping the sheet columns.
  • Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when the score is less than 7, if this sheet should hold detractors only. A missing score counts as 0 and passes that check.
  • Add a Slack or email step after the sheet step if low scores should also reach someone right away, not only wait in the spreadsheet.

Questions about this workflow

Does every SatisMeter response get its own row?

Yes. The trigger fires once per new feedback response, and each run adds one row to the sheet.

Which SatisMeter values can I put in Google Sheets?

Any value the New Feedback trigger passes to FlowMattic. Run a test response to see the full list, then map the ones you want to columns.

Will older SatisMeter responses be copied to the sheet?

No. Only feedback received after you turn the workflow on is added. Earlier answers stay in SatisMeter.

Can I send SatisMeter feedback to a sheet my team already uses?

Yes. Choose that spreadsheet and tab in the Google Sheets step and map the feedback values to its existing columns.
