When new meeting notes are available in Read AI, create new items in monday.com
When Read AI has notes ready for a new meeting, this workflow creates an item on a monday.com board with the summary or action items you map, so meeting outcomes are tracked next to the rest of your work.

What this workflow does
Read AI writes up your meetings with a summary and action items. Those notes help only if someone moves them into the place where work is planned. This workflow does that hand-off by creating a monday.com item each time a meeting's notes are ready.
The Read AI trigger fires when notes, such as the summary and action items, become available for a new meeting. FlowMattic passes that content to the monday.com step, which creates a new item on the board you choose. You map the meeting title, summary or action items into the item.
The template creates one item per meeting, not one per action item. If you want each action item as its own entry, you need to split the list with an Iterator first, as the tips explain. Task History shows each run and the data that reached monday.com.
Weekly client status calls
After each client call, a monday.com item appears on the client's board with Read AI's summary, so the account team can review what was agreed.
Internal planning meetings
Team leads get an item per planning meeting on a shared Meetings board, with the action items mapped into it for follow-up.
Sales call records
Each recorded sales call becomes an item on the pipeline board, and reps add owners and due dates in monday.com afterwards.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

Monday.com Create ItemAdds one monday.com item for the meeting. Connect your monday.com account, pick the board, and map Read AI's meeting data into the item. Check with a test run which item details you can fill.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Read AI AccountAccount
- Monday.com AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- To get one monday.com item per action item, add an Iterator after the trigger over the action items list, then create the item inside the loop. Check a test run to see how Read AI sends the list.
- Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only for meetings whose title contains a keyword, such as a client name, if not every meeting belongs on this board.
- Use the meeting title and date in the item name so the board stays easy to scan.
Questions about this workflow
Does every Read AI action item become its own monday.com item?
No, not as imported. The workflow creates one item per meeting. Add an Iterator over the action items if you want separate items.
Which Read AI meetings start this workflow?
Any new meeting for which Read AI makes notes available to the connected account. Add a Filter if you want only some meetings on the board.
Can the item go to different monday.com boards by meeting type?
Yes. Replace the single step with a Router that checks the meeting title, and give each route its own Create Item step for a different board.
What if the meeting has no action items?
The item is still created, because nothing in the template checks for action items first. Add a Filter after the trigger if you want to skip those meetings.
