A finished course deserves a quick reward, and a PDF certificate is the usual one. Sending them by hand means watching for completions and exporting the same Canva file again and again. This workflow does the watching and the exporting for you, then sends the email.

The MasterStudy LMS trigger fires when a user completes all lessons and quizzes in a course. It passes on data about the student and the course; a test completion shows exactly which fields, including the email address, come through.

Next, Canva Download PDF exports a design from your Canva account. The step ships unmapped, so you choose the certificate design after import. It exports the design exactly as saved, without adding the student's name, so plan for a certificate that reads well for everyone or add your own personalisation step.

The final step uses FlowMattic's Email module, sent with WordPress mail or your SMTP settings.
