Appcues shows users your onboarding flows, checklists and NPS surveys, and each of those produces events product teams want to study. FlowMattic writes them to Google Sheets: NPS scores and the comments behind them, flow form answers, checklist completions and skipped flows. It suits product managers and customer success teams who analyse adoption in a spreadsheet.

Appcues and Google Sheets workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Log Appcues NPS scores in Google Sheets for analysis
Each score becomes a row with the user ID and date, so you can chart NPS by month or by plan without exporting from Appcues.
Track which users complete the onboarding checklist
Checklist Completed adds the user to a completed tab, so you can compare activation and retention for users who finished onboarding and users who did not.
Checklist Completed→Add New Row
Find the flows people skip most
Each Web Flow Skipped event is logged with the flow name, and a pivot table on the sheet shows which tours users dismiss before they finish.
Web Flow Skipped→Add New Row
Split detractors onto a follow-up tab
A Router sends scores of six or below to a Detractors tab that customer success works through, and the rest to the main log.

2
Connect Google Sheets
In FlowMattic, open Connects and add a Google account that can edit the sheet.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
Appcues has triggers only here, so these workflows start from an Appcues event. Google Sheets changes cannot show or change a flow in Appcues.
User details such as email depend on the properties your product sends to Appcues. If a field is empty in the test data, add it to your Appcues install first.
NPS Score and NPS Feedback are separate events. Store the user ID on every row so the feedback can find its score.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Appcues and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Adoption data you can work with
Scores, completions and skips sit in a sheet where you can pivot, chart and share them with the whole team.
User events pass through your server
FlowMattic runs on your own WordPress site, so Appcues events reach the sheet without another automation account in between.
Every event logged, no task count
Runs are unlimited, so logging each flow start and skip across thousands of users costs nothing extra.
Common questions
Can I export Appcues NPS responses to Google Sheets?
Yes. Use the NPS Score trigger with Add New Row for the scores and NPS Feedback with Update Row for the comments. Responses are added from the moment the workflows are on.
Which Appcues events can I log?
Flow, checklist, pin, banner and NPS events, such as Web Flow Started, Web Flow Completed, Checklist Item Completed, Banner Dismissed and NPS Started. Each one is a separate trigger.
Can I log several Appcues events in one sheet?
Yes. Build one workflow per trigger and point them at different tabs of the same spreadsheet, or one tab with an Event column.
Can I tell mobile and web flows apart?
Yes. Mobile Flow Started is its own trigger, so give it a workflow that writes to a Mobile tab or fills a Platform column.
