Google Sheets and ActiveCampaign workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Add each new sheet row to ActiveCampaign as a contact
Event check-in lists, partner referrals or trade show leads typed into a sheet become ActiveCampaign contacts, created or updated by email so nobody is added twice.
New Spreadsheet Row→Create or Update Contact
Subscribe imported rows to a list and start an automation
After the contact is saved, the row's list column decides the list they join and the matching welcome automation is started for them, the same way a signup form would.
New Spreadsheet Row→Create or Update Contact→Subscribe or Unsubscribe Contact From List→Add Existing Contact to Automation
Keep a subscriber log in a sheet for each list
Every subscription is written as a row with email, list and date, which gives managers and clients a list growth record they can open without an ActiveCampaign login.
Contact Subscribed→Add New Row
Track who clicked which campaign link
Each click adds a row with the contact, campaign and link. Sales can sort the sheet to find warm contacts, and content teams see which links people chose.
Campaign Clicked→Add New Row
Keep a pipeline sheet up to date as deals change
When a deal is updated, the workflow finds its row by deal title and rewrites the stage, value and owner, so the forecast sheet matches ActiveCampaign.
Deal Updated→Lookup Row Data→Update Row
Tag a contact when the sheet marks them qualified
Sales qualify leads in a shared sheet. Changing the status column to Qualified finds the contact in ActiveCampaign and adds a tag, which your automations can act on.
Update Specific Column Value→Find Contact→Add/Remove Tag From Contact
Mark unsubscribed contacts in your import sheet
When someone unsubscribes, their row in the source sheet is found and marked, so the next import or mail merge from that sheet leaves them out.
Contact Unsubscribed→Lookup Row Data→Update Cell Data
