A Braze webhook campaign or Canvas step can post any user attribute you template into its body. FlowMattic receives that call and writes it to Google Sheets, so you get a list of exactly who reached a step, with the fields you picked, ready for a sales follow-up, a partner report or a check on targeting.

1. TriggerSetup Webhook

When Braze fires Setup Webhook, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.
You build this in the FlowMattic workflow builder on your own site. See the setup steps
Braze and Google Sheets workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Log each Braze webhook call as a row
Every user the webhook campaign sends gets a row with their external ID, email and campaign name, which shows the team who was actually messaged rather than who was targeted.
Put a webhook step after the Canvas branch for high-intent users. A Filter checks the plan or score attribute and only qualified users are added to the sales team's sheet.
Setup Webhook→Filter→Add New Row
Keep one row per Braze user, updated each time
Search the external ID before writing. Users already in the sheet get their latest campaign and date in Update Row, new users get a new row, so the list never doubles up.
Setup Webhook→Lookup Row Data→Router→Update Row→Add New Row
Tick off customers on an existing account list
Account managers often keep their own customer sheet. Find the user's row and write the date into a contacted cell, so they can see which of their accounts got the win-back message.
Setup Webhook→Lookup Row Data→Update Cell Data
Spread templated custom attributes across columns
If your webhook body uses Liquid to send custom attributes as a JSON string, a JSON Parser splits it into fields, so each attribute fills its own column in the sheet.
At the end, each user your Braze webhook campaign sends is written to a row in Google Sheets.
1
Start with Setup Webhook
Create a FlowMattic workflow with Braze and Setup Webhook, and copy the webhook URL it shows.
2
Build the Braze webhook
In a Braze webhook campaign or Canvas step, set that URL as the destination and add the user fields you want, such as external ID, email and campaign name, to the request body.
3
Send a test
Use Braze's test send so FlowMattic captures one request and its fields.
4
Add the row
Connect Google Sheets under Connects, add Add New Row, map the captured fields to your columns, test and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
FlowMattic only receives what the Braze webhook body contains. If a column stays empty, add that attribute to the body in Braze and test again.
Braze sends one call per user, so a campaign to a large segment means one workflow run per person. Keep webhook campaigns for the audiences you actually want in a sheet.
Rows written here stay in Google Sheets. Editing them does not change the user profile in Braze.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Braze and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
A list built from real sends
The sheet holds people who reached the webhook step, which is a better follow-up list than a segment export taken before the send.
User data stays under your control
Webhook calls land on your own WordPress site and go to Google from there, with no other automation company in the middle.
Large campaigns, flat cost
Runs are unlimited, so a webhook campaign that reaches many users costs no more in FlowMattic than a small test send.
Common questions
How does Braze send data to FlowMattic?
Through a webhook. The Setup Webhook trigger gives you a URL; you use it as the destination of a Braze webhook campaign or a webhook step in a Canvas, and Braze calls it for each user it sends to.
Which user fields can I put in the sheet?
Any field you include in the webhook body. Braze lets you template user attributes into it, so add external ID, email, name or custom attributes there and map them in Add New Row.
Can I avoid duplicate rows for the same user?
Yes. Search the external ID column with Lookup Row Data first and use a Router: Update Row when the user is found, Add New Row when not.
Can different Canvases write to different sheets?
Yes. Give each webhook a campaign or Canvas name field and route on it, or use a separate FlowMattic workflow with its own webhook URL for each one.
