What this workflow does
Your team plans in ClickUp, but you may run your own day from Todoist. Switching between both apps to see what landed on your plate is easy to forget. This workflow puts a copy of every new ClickUp task into Todoist.
The ClickUp trigger fires when a new task is created in the place you connect. FlowMattic passes the task's details to Todoist, where Create Task adds a new item. Map the ClickUp task name as the Todoist content, and add a due date or description if the ClickUp data carries them.
This is a one-way copy made at creation. Later edits, status changes or completion in ClickUp do not reach Todoist, and closing the Todoist task leaves ClickUp unchanged. Task History lists each copy with Todoist's reply.

Does completing the Todoist task close it in ClickUp?
No. The copy goes one way and only when the ClickUp task is created. Completing or editing the Todoist task changes nothing in ClickUp.
Will every new ClickUp task be copied to Todoist?
Yes, every task the trigger sees. Add a Filter if you only want, for example, tasks assigned to you.
Do edits to a ClickUp task show up in Todoist later?
No. The workflow only runs when a task is created, so later changes in ClickUp are not sent across.
