What this workflow does
Gripp is where many agencies handle quotes, assignments and invoicing, while the people doing the work often plan in ClickUp. Each new assignment then needs a ClickUp task, typed in by someone who may forget or copy the details wrong. This workflow creates that task as soon as the assignment exists in Gripp.
The Gripp trigger fires on the Assignment Created event and passes the assignment data to FlowMattic. The Create Task step in ClickUp then makes a task from the values you map, such as the assignment name and description.
It runs in one direction and only on creation. Updating or closing the assignment in Gripp does not change the ClickUp task, and ticking the task off in ClickUp leaves Gripp untouched. Task History lists each assignment that started a run along with what ClickUp received.
