What this workflow does
Docsumo extracts data from invoices, bank statements and other documents, but a person often still needs to look at the result. If that check depends on someone remembering to open Docsumo, documents wait. This workflow puts a review task in ClickUp whenever a document's status moves.
The Docsumo Document Status Change trigger fires whenever a document's status is changed. FlowMattic takes the document data from the event and passes it to ClickUp, where the Create Task action adds a new task. You map the document details into the task so the reviewer knows which file to open.
The trigger reacts to any status change, not to one status in particular. A document that moves through several statuses creates a task for each move. If you only want a task at one point, such as when a document is ready for review, add a Filter on the status field after import.

Questions about this workflow
Will one Docsumo document create several ClickUp tasks?
It can. The trigger fires on every status change, so a document that changes status three times creates three tasks. A Filter on the status field limits it to the change you care about.
Does the workflow update the ClickUp task when the Docsumo status changes again?
No. It only uses Create Task, so each status change adds a new task. Existing tasks are left as they are.
Can I assign the ClickUp review task to a specific person?
Check the Create Task step after import to see which ClickUp options it offers. A test run shows how the task is created in your workspace.
Are Docsumo documents processed before I turn this on included?
