Create a ClickUp task for each new Pulsetic monitor event
Each time a new monitor event occurs in Pulsetic, FlowMattic creates a task in the ClickUp list you choose, so uptime incidents get an owner and a place to track the follow-up.

What this workflow does
Uptime alerts tell you something happened, but they don't make sure someone deals with it. Teams that plan their work in ClickUp want each incident there too, with an assignee, comments and a status. This workflow turns every Pulsetic monitor event into a ClickUp task.
The Pulsetic trigger fires when a new monitor event occurs, and passes the event's details on. That means every event your monitors report, which can include a site coming back up as well as going down. A test event shows which kinds your account sends.
The ClickUp Create Task step then adds a new task. It ships unmapped: after import you choose where the task goes and write its name and description, mapping event details from Pulsetic such as the monitor name and what happened.
Every event creates its own task, so a site that goes down and recovers can produce two. If you only want tasks for outages, read the tips first. Task History shows each run with the Pulsetic data and the task ClickUp created.
Incident follow-up for an agency
A web agency monitors client sites in Pulsetic, and each event lands as a task in the support list so someone writes up the cause for the client.
Post-mortems for a SaaS team
An engineering team uses each ClickUp task created from a Pulsetic event to collect notes and link the fix before closing it.
Uptime history for a freelancer
A freelance developer keeps a ClickUp list of every monitor event for the sites they maintain, to show clients during monthly reviews.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Pulsetic New Monitor EventStarts a run for each event your Pulsetic monitors report. Details such as which monitor it was are handed to the ClickUp step for mapping.
ClickUp Create TaskCreates a new ClickUp task for the monitor event. The step ships unmapped: after import, choose the destination and map the Pulsetic details into the task name and description.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Pulsetic AccountAccount
- ClickUp AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- To create tasks only for outages, put a Filter between the Pulsetic trigger and the ClickUp step on the event's status or type. Find the field and its values in a test event first.
- Start the task name with the monitor's name from the trigger data, so tasks for the same site are easy to find and sort in ClickUp.
- Add a Slack or Email step after Create Task to tell the on-call person, mapping the new task's link if ClickUp returns one.
Questions about this workflow
Does a Pulsetic monitor coming back up create a ClickUp task?
If Pulsetic reports the recovery as a monitor event, yes. Every new event starts a run. Add a Filter on the event type between the trigger and the ClickUp step to keep only outages.
Which ClickUp list do the Pulsetic tasks go to?
The one you pick in the Create Task step after import. The template doesn't set a destination, so choose the list your team uses for incidents.
Can each Pulsetic incident task go to a set person in ClickUp?
Check the Create Task step after import for the options it offers. If it lets you set an assignee, every task from Pulsetic goes to that person.
