When a form is completed in NativeForms, create or update a contact in FluentCRM
When someone completes a NativeForms form, FluentCRM creates a contact from their answers or updates the contact that already has that email, so your WordPress CRM holds every lead the form collects.

What this workflow does
NativeForms runs your forms outside WordPress, while FluentCRM keeps your contacts inside it. Moving each lead between the two by hand means exports, imports and the chance of duplicates. This workflow carries every completed form into your CRM as it arrives.
The NativeForms trigger is Form Completed, which fires when someone finishes and submits a form. FlowMattic receives the answers and passes them to FluentCRM with Create or Update Contact. That action matches by email, so a person filling in a form for the first time gets a new contact and someone already in your CRM has their record refreshed.
Only completed forms count. NativeForms also has a Form Opened trigger, but this template does not use it, so a visitor who opens the form and leaves sends nothing. Every completed entry runs once, and Task History shows the data that reached FluentCRM.
Lead forms embedded on landing pages
A NativeForms lead form on a landing page sends each completed entry to FluentCRM, where you can email the person from WordPress.
Customer details updated by a returning visitor
A customer who fills in your NativeForms profile form again with the same email has their FluentCRM contact updated with the new answers.
Event interest list
People who complete a NativeForms interest form for an upcoming event become FluentCRM contacts you can mail when tickets open.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
NativeForms Form CompletedFires when a NativeForms form is completed. Each answer in the finished form becomes data you can map into the FluentCRM contact.
FluentCRM Create or Update ContactCreates a contact in FluentCRM, or updates the contact that has the same email address. Map the form's email answer and any name or phone answers. Check a test entry for the other contact options the step has.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- NativeForms AccountAccount
- FluentCRM PluginPlugin
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Make the email question required in NativeForms. FluentCRM looks contacts up by email, so an entry without one can't be matched or created.
- Running more than one NativeForms form? Add a Filter after the trigger on the form name or ID from the trigger data, so only the form meant for FluentCRM adds contacts.
- Add a FluentCRM Add Tags to Contact step after the contact step to label everyone from this form. It works because the contact exists by then.
Questions about this workflow
Will someone who only opens the NativeForms form be added?
No. The trigger is Form Completed, so only finished and submitted forms run the workflow. Opening a form without submitting it sends nothing.
A NativeForms respondent already has a FluentCRM contact. What happens?
The step matches on email and updates the existing contact. A mapped field left blank in the new entry can replace a value the contact had, so map only answers the form always collects.
Must FluentCRM be installed where FlowMattic runs for NativeForms leads to arrive?
Yes. FluentCRM is a WordPress plugin, and the contact step writes to the copy installed next to FlowMattic. NativeForms connects through your NativeForms account.
Are past NativeForms entries copied into FluentCRM?
No. Only forms completed after you turn the workflow on reach FluentCRM. Export older entries from NativeForms and import them into FluentCRM if you need them.
