When a form is submitted in Getsitecontrol, add a new subscriber in FluentCRM
Every Getsitecontrol form submission is sent to FluentCRM, which creates a subscriber for a new email address or updates the matching contact, so pop-up and widget sign-ups reach your WordPress list.

What this workflow does
Getsitecontrol widgets collect email addresses through pop-ups, bars and slide-ins. If your newsletter runs from FluentCRM, those addresses still have to be exported and imported before you can email anyone. This workflow hands each submission to FluentCRM as soon as FlowMattic receives it.
The Getsitecontrol trigger fires when a form in one of your widgets is submitted. FlowMattic passes the submitted values to the FluentCRM step, which runs Create or Update Contact. FluentCRM looks the person up by email address: an unknown address becomes a new contact, and a known one has its contact updated with the mapped values.
Every submission from any of your Getsitecontrol forms runs the workflow, since the template has no Filter. Because the step can update people you already hold, a widget that asks only for an email could, depending on your mapping, blank out a name stored earlier. Map just the fields each form really collects.
Exit-intent newsletter pop-up
A Getsitecontrol pop-up asks leaving visitors to subscribe. Each address it collects lands in FluentCRM, ready for your next newsletter.
Discount code sign-up bar
A top bar offers a coupon for an email address. Shoppers who sign up become FluentCRM contacts you can include in sale campaigns.
Content upgrade slide-in
A slide-in on blog posts offers a checklist in exchange for an email. The reader is added to FluentCRM, where you can send the download link from an email sequence.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Getsitecontrol Form is SubmittedRuns when a visitor submits a form inside one of your Getsitecontrol widgets. The submitted values are passed to the FluentCRM step for mapping.
FluentCRM Create or Update ContactCreates a FluentCRM contact for a new email address, or updates the contact that already has it. Map the widget's email field, plus a name if the form asks for one.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Getsitecontrol AccountAccount
- FluentCRM PluginPlugin
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Running several widgets? Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only for the widget or form you want, so other forms don't add contacts.
- To start new subscribers on a welcome series, add FluentCRM's Add Subscriber to Sequence step after this one and pick the sequence you already built.
- Submit the widget once yourself after import so FlowMattic captures its fields, then map them in the FluentCRM step and check the new contact.
Questions about this workflow
Does a Getsitecontrol sign-up from an existing FluentCRM contact create a duplicate?
No. FluentCRM matches on email address, so the existing contact is updated with the mapped values. Fields left blank in the widget may replace stored values, depending on what you map.
Which Getsitecontrol forms run this workflow?
Every form submission the trigger receives, because the template has no Filter. Add one after the trigger to limit it to a single widget or form.
Are past Getsitecontrol submissions sent to FluentCRM?
No. Only forms submitted after you turn the workflow on are passed along. Export older entries from Getsitecontrol and import them into FluentCRM if you need them.
