What this workflow does
When one team plans in GoodDay.Work and another tracks work on a Monday.com board, new tasks have to be copied across by hand, and the people who need to act are often told in Slack anyway. This workflow handles both steps for every new task.
The GoodDay.Work trigger starts the run each time someone adds a task. FlowMattic passes the task data to the Monday.com step, which creates a new item on the board you choose, named from the task values you map. The Slack step then posts a message to a channel, built from your text plus values from the task and, if you like, from the new Monday.com item.
The Monday.com item is a copy made at creation time. Later edits or completion in GoodDay.Work are not carried over. Create a test task after import to capture fields for mapping in both actions.

- Add a Router between the GoodDay.Work trigger and the Monday.com step, with routes on distinct project values that can't both match. Give each route its own Monday.com step for its board and its own Slack step.

Do GoodDay.Work task updates sync to Monday.com?
No. The workflow runs only when a task is created. Edits and completions in GoodDay.Work do not change the Monday.com item.
Can the GoodDay.Work alert post to a private Slack channel?
