What this workflow does
Social posts disappear down the feed within a day. If you want a lasting copy on your own site, you have to paste each one into WordPress by hand. This workflow takes the posts you publish through Radaar and turns each one into a WordPress blog post.
The Radaar trigger fires when a new post is published from your Radaar account. FlowMattic passes the post's data to the WordPress step, which creates a new post on the site where FlowMattic runs. You map the Radaar content into the post, for example its text into the post content and a short line into the title.
Each Radaar post produces one WordPress post, created inside your own site. Run a test first to see the post that comes out and whether it goes live right away. Task History records every run and the data that came from Radaar.
A news page fed by your social updates
A local business posts offers and news through Radaar. The same updates build up as blog posts on its website, where search engines and visitors can find them later.
An archive of your social posts
You want a permanent record of what you shared. Every Radaar post becomes a WordPress post you can search, categorise and keep.
Drafts to expand into longer articles
Your short social posts arrive in WordPress as starting points, which you then grow into full articles before publishing.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Radaar New Post PublishedFires when a new post is published from your connected Radaar account. The post's data becomes available to map into WordPress.
WordPress New PostCreates a new post on your WordPress site from the Radaar data. Map the content and title, then run a test to see how the post looks and whether it is saved as you want.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Radaar AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Add a Filter after the trigger if only some Radaar posts belong on your blog, for example ones that contain a certain hashtag.
- Publish one test post through Radaar after import so FlowMattic captures its fields before you map them into the WordPress post.
- Social posts rarely have a natural title. Map the first words of the post into the title, or set a fixed prefix such as Update followed by the date.
Questions about this workflow
Will my older Radaar posts be added to WordPress?
No. Only posts published through Radaar after you turn the workflow on create WordPress posts.
Does the WordPress post go live straight away?
Run a test to see what the WordPress step does as imported. If you want to review each post before it appears, check whether the step lets you save it as a draft, or add a Human in the Loop step before it.
Do I need to connect WordPress separately for the blog post step?
No. The post is created on the site where FlowMattic is installed. You only connect your Radaar account.
