When a transfer status is changed in Wise, create a new order in WooCommerce
When a Wise transfer changes status, FlowMattic creates a new order in WooCommerce from the transfer data, so payments handled through Wise can be recorded as store orders.

What this workflow does
Some stores take payment by bank transfer through Wise, then enter an order in WooCommerce by hand to keep their sales records and stock in one place. This workflow creates the WooCommerce order for you when a Wise transfer changes status.
The Wise trigger runs on Transfer Status Change. FlowMattic receives the transfer data, including its new status, and passes it to WooCommerce, where Create New Order adds an order to your store. You map transfer values into the order, and a test run shows what WooCommerce saved.
Every status change starts a run, and the template has no check on which status it is. One transfer that moves through several statuses would create several orders. Before you turn this on, add a Filter after the trigger that continues only for the status you treat as paid. Task History shows each run and its status.
B2B orders paid by bank transfer
A wholesale customer pays through Wise. With a Filter on the completed status, the payment becomes a WooCommerce order you can fulfil.
International customers paying in other currencies
Wise handles the transfer, and the matching WooCommerce order keeps your store reports complete.
Recording offline payments in the store
Orders created from Wise transfers sit in WooCommerce with your other orders, so sales paid outside the checkout are recorded in the store.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Wise Transfer Status ChangeRuns whenever a transfer on your Wise account changes status. The transfer details, including the new status, are available to map into the order.
WooCommerce Create New OrderCreates an order in WooCommerce on your WordPress site from the mapped Wise data. Confirm the order details with a test run before going live.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Wise AccountAccount
- WooCommerce PluginPlugin
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Add a Filter after the Wise trigger that continues only when the status equals the value Wise uses for a finished transfer. Check a captured run to see the exact value.
- Use a reference you include in each Wise transfer to tell which customer or product the order is for, and map it into the WooCommerce order.
- Add an email or Slack step after the order is created so someone checks each order made from a Wise transfer.
Questions about this workflow
Will one Wise transfer create more than one WooCommerce order?
It can, as imported. Every status change runs the workflow. Add a Filter on the status so only one change per transfer creates an order.
Does WooCommerce need to be on the same site as FlowMattic?
Yes. WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin, and the Create New Order step adds orders to the store on the site where FlowMattic runs.
Are earlier Wise transfers turned into orders?
No. Only status changes that happen after the workflow is switched on are sent to WooCommerce.
