When Contact Form 7 form is submitted, create a new user in WordPress and add subscriber in Sendinblue
When a visitor sends a Contact Form 7 form, this workflow creates a WordPress user account for them and then adds the same person to Brevo as a contact, so sign-up and mailing list happen from one form.

What this workflow does
Some sites use a plain Contact Form 7 form as a sign-up form: for a members area, a course, or a client portal. Without automation you read each submission, create the user by hand in WordPress, then add the person to your mailing list in Brevo. This workflow turns one submission into both records.
The Contact Form 7 trigger picks up each new submission and passes its fields along. The second step runs New User in WordPress, which creates an account on your site from the details you map, such as the email address and name. The third step sends the person to Brevo ( Sendinblue ) with Create a New Contact.
The account and the contact both come from the same submission, so they hold matching details. Every submission runs all three steps, and each run appears in Task History with the data each step received. Test with your own address first so you can see what the new user and the Brevo contact look like before real visitors use the form.
Member sign-up on a community site
A Contact Form 7 registration form creates the member's WordPress login and puts them on the Brevo list you use for member news.
Client portal access for a small agency
New clients fill in an onboarding form. They get a WordPress account for the portal, and Brevo holds their address for project updates.
Free course or resource library
Visitors register for gated lessons through a simple form. The account opens the content, and the Brevo contact lets you email them new lessons.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
Contact Form 7 New Form SubmissionFires each time a visitor submits a Contact Form 7 form on your site. All submitted fields are handed to the WordPress and Brevo steps for mapping.
WordPress New UserTurns the submitted details into a WordPress account on your site. Map the form data you collect into this step, then run a test to check the account details and role it produces.
Brevo ( Sendinblue ) Create a New ContactAdds the person to Brevo as a new contact. Map the email field from the form, plus any name fields, and connect your Brevo account when you import.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- Contact Form 7 PluginPlugin
- Brevo ( Sendinblue ) AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Require the email field in your form tag (email*) so both the WordPress account and the Brevo contact always get an address to work with.
- Add a Filter between the Contact Form 7 trigger and the WordPress step that continues only when a consent or terms checkbox is ticked, so neither record is made without agreement.
- If people already registered on your site may send the form again, check Task History after a test with an existing email to see how the WordPress step responds.
Questions about this workflow
What if the Contact Form 7 sender already has a WordPress account?
They keep the account they have. WordPress won't register that email twice, so the New User step reports the existing user's ID instead, which you can check in Task History.
Does the Contact Form 7 form need a password field?
Not necessarily. Map whatever the form collects into the WordPress step, then run a test to see how the new account is set up with the data you send.
Will older Contact Form 7 submissions create users?
No. Only submissions made after the workflow is turned on start a run, so earlier messages are left as they are.
Can I add the Brevo contact without creating a WordPress user?
Yes. Delete the WordPress step after import and map the form fields straight into the Brevo step.
