When new form submission is received in ARForms, create a new user in WordPress, and add a new subscriber in Sendinblue
One ARForms submission does two jobs here: it creates a WordPress user account for the person, then adds them to Brevo (Sendinblue) as a contact for your email campaigns.

What this workflow does
A registration form on a WordPress site often has two jobs. The person needs an account on your site, and you want them on your mailing list. Doing both from each ARForms entry by hand is repetitive, and easy to get half done. Here one ARForms entry sets up the account and the Brevo contact together.
The ARForms trigger fires when a form is submitted. FlowMattic first runs the WordPress New User action, which creates a site user from the form fields you map into it. It then sends the person to Brevo with Create a New Contact, so they appear among your contacts there.
The two actions don't depend on each other. If the email is already registered, WordPress doesn't make a second user and the step returns the existing user's ID; Task History shows it. Decide how you handle returning visitors before you go live.
Membership sign-up page
An ARForms registration form creates the member's WordPress login and adds them to Brevo, where you send the welcome email and member news.
Free resource library behind a login
Visitors register through ARForms to reach your downloads. They get a site account and join the Brevo contacts you mail about new resources.
Client portal accounts
A service business collects new client details in ARForms, gives each client a WordPress account for the portal, and keeps them in Brevo for updates.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
ARForms New Form SubmissionRuns when a visitor submits your ARForms form. Every field is passed on for mapping in the WordPress and Brevo steps.
WordPress New UserMakes a new WordPress user for the person who filled in the form. Map the form's email into the user and fill the other user details from the form, then test to confirm the account appears under Users.
Brevo ( Sendinblue ) Create a New ContactAdds the person to Brevo as a contact. Connect your Brevo account and map the email and any name fields from the ARForms entry into the contact.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- ARForms PluginPlugin
- Brevo ( Sendinblue ) AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- Make the email field required in ARForms, since both the WordPress user and the Brevo contact depend on it.
- Add a Filter between the WordPress step and the Brevo step that continues only when your marketing consent checkbox is ticked, if you don't want everyone who registers added to Brevo.
- Submit the form with a fresh test address after import and check both the Users screen in WordPress and your Brevo contacts before going live.
Questions about this workflow
What happens if the ARForms email already has a WordPress account?
That person keeps one account. The step returns the user ID WordPress already holds for that email, and Task History shows it for the submission.
What if the ARForms respondent is already in Brevo?
The step is Create a New Contact. Brevo decides what to do with an address it already holds, and Task History shows its response for that run.
Which WordPress role do the new ARForms users get?
Check the New User step after import and run a test submission. The account appears under Users in WordPress, where you can confirm the role it was given.
