The When survey response submitted in Zoho Survey, create task in ClickUp assigned to product team with feedback details workflow on the FlowMattic canvas, with 2 steps across Zoho Survey, ClickUp
The workflow as it appears in the builder after import. Each step opens for editing.

What this workflow does

Product feedback collected in a survey sits in the survey tool unless someone moves it. When each response arrives as a task in ClickUp, the people who build the product see it where they already plan and discuss work. This workflow makes that task for every response.

The Zoho Survey trigger fires when a respondent submits a response to your survey. Each of those responses then becomes a new task in ClickUp through the Create Task action. You build the task from the response by mapping in the answers you want, for example the main rating or topic and the full written feedback.

The template creates the task. Where it lands and who it belongs to depend on how you set up the ClickUp step after import, so pick the place your product team works from and check the step's options for assigning it. Every submitted response makes one task, and Task History shows what was sent to ClickUp.

In-app feature request survey

Users who answer a feature request survey each produce a ClickUp task the product manager reviews during weekly triage.

Post-release feedback

After a release, a short Zoho Survey asks what users think, and each answer becomes a task the team can comment on and link to follow-up work.

Beta programme reports

Beta testers fill in a structured feedback survey, and each report appears in ClickUp with their answers in the task, ready to be sorted.

How this workflow runs

What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.

  1. Step 1Trigger
    Zoho Survey Survey Response Submitted

Fires each time a respondent submits a response to your Zoho Survey. The answers in that response become available to map into the ClickUp task.

  2. Step 2Action
    ClickUp Create Task

Creates a new task in ClickUp from the survey response. Connect ClickUp, choose where your product team's tasks go, and map the answers into the task. A test response shows the options the step gives you.

What you need

  • FlowMatticCore
  • Zoho Survey AccountAccount
  • ClickUp AccountAccount

After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.

Make it yours

Changes worth making after you import it.

  • Put the respondent's main rating or chosen topic at the start of the task name, so the team can scan the list without opening every task.
  • Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when a score is below a set value, if your product team wants tasks for low ratings only. A blank score counts as 0 and passes a less-than check.
  • Submit a test response in Zoho Survey after import so FlowMattic captures the question fields, then map them into the ClickUp task.

Questions about this workflow

Does every Zoho Survey response create a ClickUp task?

Yes, as imported. Each submitted response starts a run, and there is no Filter, so every one becomes a task.

How is the ClickUp task assigned to my product team?

Nothing is pre-set in the template. You decide where the task goes, and who gets it if the step offers that, when you set up the ClickUp step after import. Run a test response to see the options.

Will older survey responses become ClickUp tasks?

No. Only responses submitted after you turn the workflow on create tasks.
