Connect CCAvenue and Google Sheets

CCAvenue tells you when a customer completes a payment, when reconciliation changes a transaction's status and when a risk flag is raised. FlowMattic records those updates in Google Sheets, so an Indian online business can match orders to settlements, review flagged payments and track subscription collections in one spreadsheet its accountant can open.

When CCAvenue fires Order Status, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

CCAvenue and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Log every completed CCAvenue payment in a sheet

Each order status CCAvenue sends after checkout becomes a row with the order ID, tracking ID, amount, payment mode and status, a daily sales record outside the merchant dashboard.

Put failed and aborted payments on their own tab

A Router reads the order status. Successful payments go to the sales tab, while failed or aborted ones go to a follow-up tab for customers who may need help paying.

Update orders as reconciliation settles them

When reconciliation changes a transaction's status, find the order by its ID and write the new status into its row, so the accounts team sees which payments have actually settled.

Queue risk-flagged orders for a manual check

Each risk flag adds the order to a review tab, and an email to the person who ships orders asks them to hold it until someone has looked at the payment.

Track recurring collections in a subscriptions ledger

Every completed standing-instruction payment is logged with the customer and amount, so the business can see which subscribers paid this cycle.

Keep a log of payment options going down

Payment Type Status reports when a payment option goes down or a new one is added. A dated log helps explain a dip in conversions on a given afternoon.

Set up: completed payments in a sheet

At the end, each order status CCAvenue sends after a customer pays is written as a row in Google Sheets.

  1. Prepare the sales sheet

Add a header row for Date, Order ID, Tracking ID, Customer, Amount, Payment mode and Status.

  2. Trigger on Order Status

Create a workflow with CCAvenue and Order Status, and set up the connection and URL details the trigger asks for in your CCAvenue merchant settings.

  3. Make a test payment

Complete a small payment through your checkout so FlowMattic captures the order status fields.

  4. Connect Sheets and add the row

Connect a Google account that can edit the sheet, add Add New Row, map the fields, test it and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Store both your order ID and CCAvenue's tracking ID. Reconciliation and risk updates need one of them to find the original row.
  • Order Status and Order Status Echo URL can report the same payment. Use one of them per sheet, or look the order up first, to avoid two rows for one sale.
  • The workflows only record CCAvenue data. Changing a status in the sheet does not refund or cancel the order in CCAvenue.

Triggers (6)

  • Order StatusTriggers when a payment is completed by customer.
  • Order Status Echo URLSends a Order Status in realtime to alternate URL.
  • Order Reconciliation StatusTriggers when transaction status is updated in reconciliation.
  • Order Risk StatusTriggers everytime when a risk flag is updated for a transaction.
  • Payment Type StatusTriggers when a payment option is down or when a new payment option is added.
  • Order Status for Recurring PaymentsTriggers on completion of recurring payment.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

CCAvenue and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

A ledger your accountant can open

Settlements, failures and recurring collections sit in a shared spreadsheet that is easy to hand over at month end or GST time.

Payment data stays on your server

Order and customer details go from CCAvenue through your own WordPress site to Google, with no extra automation company holding them.

Busy sale days cost the same

Runs are unlimited, so a festival sale with thousands of orders is logged at no extra charge.

Common questions

Which CCAvenue updates can I log in Google Sheets?

Completed order statuses, the echo URL copy of them, reconciliation status changes, risk status flags, payment option status and completed recurring payments. Each is its own trigger and can write to its own tab.

Can I see which orders have settled?

Yes. Log orders from Order Status, then use Order Reconciliation Status with Lookup Row Data and Update Row to write the reconciled status into each order's row.

Will failed payments appear too?

Order Status reports the status of the payment the customer made, so check the status field in your test data and route anything other than success to a separate tab.

How do I avoid two rows for the same payment?

Use either Order Status or Order Status Echo URL for a given sheet, not both. If you need both, add Lookup Row Data on the order ID and only add a row when it is not found.
