Connect Funnelish and Google Sheets

Funnelish runs checkouts and sales funnels for e-commerce stores and reports orders plus activity such as optins, purchase attempts and refunds. Google Sheets is a common place to track fulfilment and margins. FlowMattic writes Funnelish orders and activity into a sheet from your own WordPress site, so the ops team sees new orders and refunds in one list.

2. ActionAdd New Row

When Funnelish fires New Order, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

You build this in the FlowMattic workflow builder on your own site. See the setup steps

Funnelish and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Log every new Funnelish order in a sheet

Each order adds a row with the customer, products, total and shipping address, which the fulfilment team or a supplier can work from directly.

Split funnel activity into tabs by type

New Activity covers optins, purchases, purchase attempts and refunds. A Router reads the activity type and files each on its own tab.

Mark the order row when a refund comes in

A Filter keeps only refund activity, then the order's row is found and its status set to Refunded, so the margin sheet stops counting that sale.

Collect failed purchase attempts for a recovery list

Purchase attempts that did not complete go onto a Recovery tab with the email and product, so someone can reach out with a payment link or discount.

Write one row per product in each order

When an order has an upsell or bump, an Iterator writes each line item as its own row, so product-level sales and stock counts add up.

Add an order day column for daily totals

Date/Time Formatter turns the order time into a plain date in your store's timezone, so a SUMIF gives revenue per day without formula work on timestamps.

Set up: orders in a sheet

At the end, each new Funnelish order is logged as a row in your orders sheet.

  1. Create the orders tab

Add headers such as Order ID, Date, Customer, Email, Products, Total, Address and Status.

  2. Connect Funnelish and Google

Under Connects, add your Funnelish account and a Google account that can edit the orders spreadsheet.

  3. Trigger on New Order

Start a workflow on the Funnelish New Order trigger and place a test order so FlowMattic captures the order fields.

  4. Map the order

Add Google Sheets Add New Row, map the order fields, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • New Activity fires for several kinds of events. Check the activity type in a captured sample and use a Filter or Router so refunds and optins do not land in the orders tab.
  • Store the Funnelish order ID in the sheet; the refund example needs it to find the row.
  • Products in one order may arrive as a list. Use an Iterator for one row per item, or a Text Formatter step to join them into one cell.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Funnelish and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Orders and refunds in one view

With refunds marked on the order row, the sheet shows real revenue rather than gross checkout totals.

A sales spike costs the same

FlowMattic has unlimited runs, so a big promotion that triples orders does not change what you pay.

Customer data stays on your server

Names and addresses pass through your own WordPress site to the sheet, not through an outside automation account.

Common questions

Can I send Funnelish orders to Google Sheets for fulfilment?

Yes. Start a workflow on New Order and map the customer, products and shipping address into Add New Row. Share the sheet with your fulfilment partner or packer.

How do I keep refunds out of my revenue totals?

Start a second workflow on New Activity, filter for refunds, look up the order row by ID and set its status with Update Row. Total only rows that are not refunded.

Can I see people who tried to buy but did not finish?

Yes. Filter New Activity for purchase attempts and add them to a Recovery tab with their email and the product.

What does an order with upsells look like in the sheet?

By default it is one row. Add an Iterator over the order's items if you want a row per product, which makes product totals easier.

Can optins from my funnel go to a separate list?

Yes. Use a Router on New Activity so optin activity writes to a Leads tab while purchases and refunds go elsewhere.
