Connect Juspay and Google Sheets

Juspay routes your payments across gateways, and the reconciliation work usually ends up in a spreadsheet. FlowMattic writes Juspay order, refund, chargeback and mandate events into Google Sheets from your WordPress site, so finance and support can see what was paid, what came back and what still needs a decision.

1. TriggerOrder Succeeded
2. ActionAdd New Row

When Juspay fires Order Succeeded, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

You build this in the FlowMattic workflow builder on your own site. See the setup steps

Juspay and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Log every successful Juspay order

Each paid order becomes a row with its order ID, amount and customer, which gives finance a daily list to match against settlement reports.

Mark the original order when it is refunded

Look up the order ID and write the refund into that row, so the sheet shows the net position of each order rather than two unrelated lines.

Open a chargeback register

Every chargeback received is added to a Disputes tab with its order and amount, giving whoever handles disputes one place to track evidence and deadlines.

Close a dispute row when the chargeback is canceled

When a chargeback is canceled, find its row and set the outcome, so the open disputes list only holds cases that still need work.

Queue refunds that need manual review

Refunds Juspay holds for review are written to a queue tab, then an email goes to the finance inbox so someone looks at them the same day.

Track failed orders to spot gateway problems

Writing each failed order with its gateway and error to a sheet shows patterns early, for example one payment method failing more than the rest.

Keep a list of mandates and when they expire

Recurring payment mandates get a row when created. A second workflow on Mandate Expired finds the row and marks it, so renewals can be chased.

Set up: each paid order as a row

At the end, every Juspay order that succeeds is written to your Google Sheet as one row.

  1. Prepare the sheet

Add a header row such as Order ID, Date, Customer email, Amount, Currency, Payment method and Status.

  2. Connect Google Sheets

In Connects, add a Google Sheets connection with an account that can edit the reconciliation sheet.

  3. Start with Order Succeeded

Create a workflow with the Juspay Order Succeeded trigger and add the webhook it shows in your Juspay dashboard, then capture a test order.

  4. Add New Row

Add Google Sheets Add New Row, map the order fields to the columns, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Each Juspay event is its own trigger, so refunds, chargebacks and mandates each need their own workflow. Build the order log first, then add the others.
  • Store the Juspay order ID in every row. Refund and chargeback workflows use it with Lookup Row Data to find the order they belong to.
  • Refund Initiated and Order Refunded can both fire for the same refund. Pick one of them for the refund column so amounts are not counted twice.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Juspay and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Payment events stay on your server

Order and customer details pass from Juspay through your own WordPress site to the sheet, with no outside automation account in between.

High order volume, same price

Runs are unlimited, so logging every order, refund and transaction event costs the same on a sale day as on a quiet Sunday.

One sheet for finance and support

Refunds, disputes and failures sit next to the orders they belong to, so both teams answer customer questions from the same record.

Common questions

Which Juspay events can I send to Google Sheets?

Any trigger on this page, including Order Succeeded, Order Failed, Order Refunded, Chargeback Received, Mandate Created and Refund Manual Review Needed. Each one starts its own workflow.

Can a refund update the original order row?

Yes. Start with Order Refunded, use Lookup Row Data to search the Order ID column, then Update Row to write the refund amount and date into that row.

Can I separate disputes from normal orders?

Yes. Write Chargeback Received to its own tab, and use Chargeback Canceled or Chargeback Expired to update the outcome of each dispute row.

How do I keep the sheet from getting too large?

Log only the events you act on. You can also run Export Sheet to Excel or Export sheet to CSV in a workflow to keep an archive copy in the WordPress Media Library.

Is a free Google account enough?

Yes. Any Google account with edit access to the spreadsheet works, though many finance teams use a Google Workspace account so access can be managed centrally.
