Connect 2Checkout and Google Sheets

2Checkout handles payments and subscriptions, but finance and customer success often plan from a spreadsheet. FlowMattic writes 2Checkout orders, refunds, renewal failures, cancellations and quotes into Google Sheets from your WordPress site, so the sheet shows what sold, what came back and which customers need a call.

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Set up: each new order as a row

Under Connects, add a Google Sheets connection with an account that can edit the spreadsheet.

  3. Start with Order Created

Create a workflow with the 2Checkout Order Created trigger and follow its instructions to send 2Checkout notifications to the workflow, then place a test order.

  4. Add New Row

Add Google Sheets Add New Row, pick the spreadsheet and sheet, map the order fields to the columns, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • These workflows copy 2Checkout events into the sheet; refunds and subscription changes are still made in 2Checkout. Data flows from 2Checkout to Google Sheets only.
  • Orders in several currencies are written as 2Checkout sends them. Keep a Currency column and convert in the sheet before adding totals together.
  • Refunds and restarts update rows by looking them up, so store the order reference in every row. Without it, Lookup Row Data has nothing to match.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

2Checkout and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Revenue, refunds and churn in one file

Orders, refunds and cancellations land in tabs of the same spreadsheet, so a pivot table gives net revenue without exports.

Customer success gets a work list

Failed renewals and fraud reviews arrive as rows someone can assign and tick off, not as emails in a shared inbox.

Payment data handled on your server

FlowMattic runs on your own WordPress site with unlimited runs, so order details pass through infrastructure you control on the way to the sheet.

Common questions

How do I send 2Checkout orders to Google Sheets?

Connect Google Sheets under Connects, create a workflow with the 2Checkout Order Created trigger and point 2Checkout's notifications at it. Add an Add New Row step mapped to your columns and switch the workflow on.

Can the sheet show refunds against the original order?

Yes. Start a workflow with Refund Issued, search the reference column with Lookup Row Data and use Update Row to fill in the refund amount and date on that order's row.

Can I track subscription renewals and failures?

Yes. Use Recurring Complete for successful renewals, Recurring Installment Failed for failed payments and Recurring Stopped for cancellations, each writing to its own tab.

Does this work now that 2Checkout is part of Verifone?

Yes. 2Checkout now belongs to Verifone, and the triggers on this page use the notifications from your 2Checkout merchant account. Connect the account you sell through today.
