Connect Classplus and Google Sheets

Tutors and coaching institutes sell courses on Classplus and then need the list somewhere they can work with it. FlowMattic writes each Classplus purchase to Google Sheets, building a sales log, a roster for each course and a monthly revenue tab that the accounts person or a batch coordinator can use without access to the Classplus admin.

When Classplus fires New Purchase, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

Classplus and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Add each Classplus purchase to a sales log

Every purchase adds a row with the student, phone, course, amount and date, so the owner can see the day's enrolments and revenue in one sheet.

Keep a separate roster for each course

A Router reads the course name and writes the student to that course's tab, so each faculty member has a ready list of who joined their batch.

One row per student, with every course they bought

Look the student up by phone or email first. Returning students get the new course added to their row, first-time buyers get a new row, which shows who buys more than once.

File purchases on a tab for each month

Format the purchase date as a month and year and use it as the sheet name, so each month's fee collection is on its own tab at accounts time.

Once the row is written, an email from your own mail server welcomes the student with the batch timing and the contact for doubts.

Tell the coordinator when a batch is full

After each new student is added to the batch tab, count its rows. A Filter checks the count against the seat limit and emails the coordinator when the last seat goes.

Set up: purchases in a sales log

At the end, every new purchase on your Classplus app adds a row to your sales log.

  1. Prepare the log

Create a sheet with Date, Student name, Phone, Email, Course and Amount columns.

  2. Trigger on New Purchase

Create a workflow with Classplus and New Purchase, and complete the connection the trigger describes.

  3. Make a test purchase

Buy a free or low-priced course on your app, or wait for the next real one, so FlowMattic captures the purchase fields.

  4. Write the row

Connect Google Sheets, add Add New Row, map the student and course details to the columns, test and switch on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Workflows start when a purchase is made on Classplus. Students added to the sheet by hand are not enrolled in Classplus.
  • If the email field is often empty in your test data, use the student's phone number as the lookup column instead.
  • The exact fields depend on the purchase data Classplus sends, so the mapping above is an example. Map from the captured test purchase.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Classplus and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Rosters ready for each teacher

Faculty and batch coordinators get the student list they need in a shared sheet, without logins to the institute's admin.

Student details stay on your server

Names and phone numbers pass through your own WordPress site on the way to Google, not through another automation account.

Admission season costs the same

Runs are unlimited, so a launch week with hundreds of enrolments costs nothing more than a quiet month.

Common questions

Can I send Classplus purchases to Google Sheets without code?

Yes. Choose Classplus with the New Purchase trigger, then add a Google Sheets Add New Row step and map the student and course fields to your columns on the FlowMattic canvas.

Can each course have its own sheet?

Yes. Add a Router with one path per course, or a Lookup Table that turns the course name into a sheet name, and point Add New Row at that tab.

Will a student who buys two courses appear twice?

With the basic log, yes, which is useful for sales totals. For a student list, look up the phone or email first and update the row of a returning student instead.

Can I track how many seats are left in a batch?

Use Get Row Count on the batch tab after each new row and compare it with the seat limit in a Filter. The coordinator can then be emailed when the batch is full.
