Funraise collects donations and keeps the donor record for nonprofits. Many development teams and treasurers still report from a Google Sheet. FlowMattic logs each new Funraise transaction as a row and corrects it when the transaction is edited, all from your own WordPress site, so the board report and the fundraising platform show the same amounts.

When Funraise fires Transaction Created, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

Funraise and Google Sheets workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Ready-made template
Log each new Funraise gift in a donation tracker
Every transaction adds a row with the donor, amount, campaign and date, so the treasurer has a current list for reconciliation and reporting.
Gifts get corrected after the fact: a changed amount, a new designation, a fixed donor name. The row is found by transaction ID and overwritten with the edited values.
Transaction Edited→Lookup Row Data→Update Row
Flag major gifts for a personal thank-you
A Filter passes gifts above your threshold. They go onto a Major gifts tab and Email (SMTP) tells the development director, who calls the donor that week.
Transaction Created→Filter→Add New Row→Email (SMTP)
Give each campaign its own tab
A Router reads the campaign or form name and writes the gift to that campaign's tab, so the gala, the year-end appeal and the monthly giving program each have their own totals.
Transaction Created→Router→Add New Row
Format amounts and dates for the board report
Number Formatter and Date/Time Formatter write the amount with two decimals and the date as day, month and year, so the sheet can go into a board pack as it is.
Transaction Created→Number Formatter→Date/Time Formatter→Add New Row

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Funraise and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Edits reach the sheet too
Because edited transactions update their row, the tracker does not drift from Funraise as gifts are corrected.
Year-end giving costs the same
Runs are unlimited, so the December rush of gifts needs no bigger FlowMattic plan than a quiet month.
Donor data stays with you
Each gift passes through your own WordPress site on the way to the sheet, not through another company's automation account.
Common questions
Can I sync Funraise donations to Google Sheets?
Yes. One workflow on Transaction Created adds each gift as a row. A second on Transaction Edited looks up that row by transaction ID and updates it, so the sheet follows changes as well as new gifts.
How do I split gifts by campaign?
Add a Router after Transaction Created with one path per campaign, each writing to its own tab. Or keep one tab and use a Campaign column with a pivot table.
Can the team hear about large gifts?
Yes. Add a Filter for amounts above your threshold and an Email (SMTP) step that tells the development director, alongside the row.
What if an edited transaction is not in the sheet yet?
Lookup Row Data finds nothing. Add a Router after the lookup so that case runs Add New Row instead of Update Row.
