Connect Kixie and Google Sheets

Kixie handles the dialling, texting and voicemail for your sales floor. FlowMattic writes those events into Google Sheets from your WordPress site: each finished call, the disposition a rep logs, every SMS and every voicemail. Managers get an activity sheet they can sort by rep or outcome, and reps get a call-back list.

1. TriggerEnd Call
2. ActionAdd New Row

When Kixie fires End Call, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

Kixie and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Log every completed Kixie call

Each call that ends becomes a row with the rep, number, direction and length, giving the sales manager a daily activity record without exporting reports.

Add the disposition to the call's row

When a rep logs an outcome in PowerCall, look up the call and write the disposition next to it, so the sheet shows what each conversation achieved.

Keep a voicemail list someone works through

Every inbound voicemail gets a row with the caller's number and the time it came in. Whoever is on duty marks each one done after calling back.

Record text conversations alongside calls

Sent and received SMS messages are written to a Texts tab, so a manager can read a prospect's history without opening each rep's phone line.

Build a call-back list from scheduled activities

When a rep schedules a follow-up in PowerCall, it is added to a Call-backs tab with the date, so the team lead can see who has calls waiting this week.

Give each rep a tab of their own calls

A Router writes each ended call to the tab of the rep who made it, which makes one-to-one coaching sessions quicker to prepare.

Set up: each finished call as a row

At the end, every Kixie call that ends is added to your Google Sheet as one row.

  1. Prepare the sheet

Add a header row such as Call ID, Date, Rep, Number, Direction, Duration and Outcome. Outcome stays blank for the disposition workflow.

  2. Connect Google Sheets

In FlowMattic, open Connects and add a Google Sheets connection with edit access to the call sheet.

  3. Start with End Call

Create a workflow with the Kixie End Call trigger, follow its setup instructions, then make a short test call so FlowMattic captures the fields.

  4. Add New Row

Add Google Sheets Add New Row, map each call field to its column, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Start Call, Answered Call and End Call all fire for one answered call. Use End Call for the log, or you will get three rows per conversation.
  • Keep the call ID in each row. The Disposition workflow needs it to find the call the outcome belongs to.
  • The fields above are typical of a call event. Check the data captured from your test call and map what Kixie sends.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Kixie and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Call data stays on your server

Phone numbers and call details go from Kixie through your own WordPress site into the sheet, not through an outside automation account.

A full sales floor costs the same

Runs are unlimited, so logging every call and text from a team of reps needs no bigger plan than logging a handful.

Coaching starts from the record

Calls, outcomes and texts sit in one sheet per rep, so managers can point to specific calls instead of talking about averages.

Common questions

Which Kixie event should I use to log calls?

End Call suits most logs, because the call's length and result are known by then. Start Call and Answered Call are useful for separate workflows, such as counting answered calls only.

Can the sheet show each call's outcome?

Yes. Build a second workflow on the Disposition trigger, use Lookup Row Data to find the call by its ID, and Update Row to write the outcome into the Outcome column.

Can voicemails become a to-do list?

Yes. The Voicemail trigger adds each inbound voicemail as a row. Add a Done column the team ticks after calling back, and filter the sheet on it.

Can I track texts as well as calls?

Yes. The SMS trigger fires for messages sent and received, so a separate workflow can write every text to its own tab of the same spreadsheet.

Does each rep need a Google account?

No. Only the Google account in your FlowMattic connection needs edit access to the spreadsheet. Share the sheet with whoever should read it.
