Connect Prodigi and Google Sheets

Prodigi prints and ships your products and reports each change in an order's status. FlowMattic writes those changes to Google Sheets, so your store team has one tracker showing where every print order is, which ones are stuck, and when each one shipped, without opening the Prodigi dashboard.

When Prodigi fires Order Status, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

Prodigi and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Log every Prodigi order status change

Each change adds a dated row, giving you a full history of every order from received to shipped for support questions.

Keep one row per order with its current status

Find the order by ID and overwrite its status column, so the tracker shows where each order stands now.

Email the customer when their print has shipped

A Filter passes only shipped updates. The workflow looks up the customer's email by order ID in your sheet and sends a note with Email (SMTP).

Move problem orders to a separate tab

A Router sends cancelled or on-hold orders to an Attention tab, so someone checks the artwork or address before the customer asks.

Record the date each order shipped

Date/Time Formatter writes the status time as a plain date, so you can work out days from order to dispatch in the sheet.

Set up: a log of status changes

At the end, every status change on a Prodigi order adds a row to your tracker.

  1. Prepare the tracker

Create headers such as Order ID, Merchant reference, Status, Changed at and Customer email.

  2. Connect Google Sheets

Under Connects, add a Google account that can edit the tracker.

  3. Choose Order Status

Create a workflow with the Prodigi Order Status trigger and complete the setup shown in the trigger step.

  4. Place a test order

Place a real or test order so FlowMattic captures a status change.

  5. Map the row

Add Google Sheets Add New Row, map the order fields, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Order Status fires on every change, so one order produces several events. Use the update workflow if you want a single row per order.
  • The shipped email needs the customer's address in your sheet. Add it when the order is created in your store.
  • Status names come from Prodigi. Check a captured event before setting Filter or Router conditions.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Prodigi and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Order data on your server

Order details pass through your WordPress site to the tracker, with no extra automation service in the middle.

Busy seasons cost the same

Runs are unlimited, so a holiday rush with many status changes needs no bigger plan.

Support answers from one sheet

Anyone answering where's-my-order emails reads the tracker without a Prodigi login.

Common questions

How do I track Prodigi orders in Google Sheets?

Create a workflow with the Prodigi Order Status trigger and add Google Sheets Add New Row, or Lookup Row Data and Update Row for one row per order. Map the order ID and status.

Can I tell customers when their order ships?

Yes. Add a Filter for the shipped status, find the customer's email in your sheet by order ID and send the message with Email (SMTP).

Can I see stuck orders?

Yes. Use a Router on the status to send cancelled or on-hold orders to their own tab, so they get checked first.

Can the sheet create or cancel Prodigi orders?

No, these workflows only read status changes from Prodigi and write them to the sheet. Orders are still placed and changed in Prodigi or your store.
