What this workflow does

Selling from a Swipe Pages landing page is quick to set up, but the sale then lives outside your WordPress store and email list. Your order history in WooCommerce and your contacts in FluentCRM miss those buyers unless you enter them by hand. This workflow adds both records each time a Swipe Pages payment goes through.

The Swipe Pages trigger fires when a payment is successful. FlowMattic then uses WooCommerce's Create New Order action to add an order from the payment data you map, such as the buyer's name, email and the product sold. The last step sends the buyer to FluentCRM, which creates a contact or updates the one that already has that email address.

The payment itself is taken by Swipe Pages, so the WooCommerce order is a record of the sale. Run a test payment after import to check which details Swipe Pages sends and how the order looks in WooCommerce.

Course sold from a landing page

A Swipe Pages sales page takes payment for an online course. The sale shows in WooCommerce with your other orders, and the buyer joins FluentCRM for course emails.

Ad campaign offers

You run paid ads to a Swipe Pages offer page. Each purchase is recorded in WooCommerce, so sales reports cover the campaign too.

Repeat buyers

A customer who buys again through Swipe Pages gets another WooCommerce order, while FluentCRM updates their existing contact instead of adding a new one.

Changes worth making after you import it.

Add FluentCRM's Add Tags to Contact action after the contact step, with a tag such as Swipe Pages buyer, so you can email these buyers separately. The contact exists by then.
If you sell more than one product through Swipe Pages, add a Router after the trigger with a route per product, each with its own WooCommerce order step. End the routes with a Join and keep the FluentCRM contact step after it, so it runs once whichever route was taken.
Make a test purchase after import and look at the new order in WooCommerce before taking live payments.
