When someone registers for a webinar in WebinarKit, create task in ClickUp
Each time someone registers for one of your WebinarKit webinars, FlowMattic creates a task in ClickUp, so every registrant gets a follow-up item on your team’s list.

What this workflow does
Webinar sign-ups often turn into work: a sales call to book, a question to answer, a seat to confirm. When those registrations stay inside WebinarKit, nobody owns them. This workflow turns each registration into a ClickUp task, so the follow-up sits in the same place as the rest of your team's work.
The WebinarKit trigger fires when someone registers for a webinar. FlowMattic receives the registration and passes its details, such as the registrant's name and email, to the next step. Check a test registration to see exactly which fields WebinarKit sends.
Next, the ClickUp step opens one task per registrant. It ships unmapped: after import you connect your ClickUp account, choose where the task goes, and map registration data into the task name and description. A name like "Follow up: registrant name" makes the list easy to scan.
There is no Filter in the template, so every registration creates its own task, including repeat sign-ups by the same person for different webinars. Open Task History to check each registration's run and the response from ClickUp.
Sales follow-up after a demo webinar
A software team runs weekly demo webinars in WebinarKit, and each registrant becomes a ClickUp task for a sales rep to call or email before the session.
Coaching programme intake
A coach uses a free WebinarKit training as the first step of a programme and tracks every registrant as a ClickUp task through a discovery-call pipeline.
Support questions before a live session
An agency invites clients to a training webinar and creates a ClickUp task for each registration, so an account manager checks in with that client beforehand.
How this workflow runs
What happens at each step once the workflow is on, and what you need before you import it.
WebinarKit New Webinar RegistrationFires whenever someone registers for a webinar in WebinarKit. The registration's details, such as the person's name and email address, become available to map into ClickUp.
ClickUp Create TaskCreates a new task in ClickUp for the registration. The step ships unmapped: connect your ClickUp account, pick where the task should live, and map the registrant's details into the task name and description.
What you need
- FlowMatticCore
- WebinarKit AccountAccount
- ClickUp AccountAccount
After importing, map your own data. To keep the template universal, not every step is pre-filled. Open each step in the builder and connect your accounts and fields (channels, lists, sheets, recipients) before you switch the workflow on.
Make it yours
Changes worth making after you import it.
- If you run several webinars, put a Filter between the WebinarKit trigger and the ClickUp step on the webinar field from a test run, so only sign-ups for the webinar you pick create tasks. The field and value are examples to set yourself.
- Put the registrant's email in the ClickUp task description, so whoever picks up the task can reply without opening WebinarKit.
- Use a dedicated ClickUp list for webinar follow-ups, so registrant tasks don't mix with project work and you can see at a glance how many sign-ups still need a call.
Questions about this workflow
Does every WebinarKit registration create a ClickUp task?
Yes. Nothing in the template narrows the trigger, so each registration starts a run and creates one task. Add a Filter between the two steps if you only want some webinars or registrants.
Where in ClickUp do the webinar registrant tasks end up?
Wherever you point the Create Task step once the workflow is imported. The template leaves that step unmapped, so you set the destination and the task fields yourself.
What happens if the same person registers twice?
Each registration is a separate trigger event, so the person gets a second task. Check the registrant's email in ClickUp if you want to merge duplicates by hand.
Will people who registered before I imported this get tasks?
No. Only registrations that arrive after the workflow is turned on start a run. Older WebinarKit registrants need to be added to ClickUp another way.
