Connect VNTANA and Google Sheets

VNTANA converts and publishes 3D product models. FlowMattic records each step in Google Sheets from your WordPress site: products added, conversions completed or failed, approvals and publishing. E-commerce and 3D teams get one status sheet for the whole catalogue, which merchandisers and managers can read without a VNTANA login.

When this happens in VNTANA21 triggers

1. TriggerProduct Added
2. ActionAdd New Row

When VNTANA fires Product Added, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

You build this in the FlowMattic workflow builder on your own site. See the setup steps

VNTANA and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Add each new VNTANA product to a tracker

Every product uploaded to VNTANA becomes a row with name, SKU, project and date, the start of a status line for that model.

Set the status to done when processing completes

Find the product's row and write completed into the status cell, so the team knows which models are ready to review.

List failed conversions for the 3D team

Models that fail processing are logged in their own tab with the product and time, so artists fix the source file instead of waiting for someone to notice.

Keep an approval queue

Products waiting for approval are added to a queue tab with the date, which shows reviewers what is waiting on them and for how long.

Record approvals against each product

When a reviewer approves a model, the product's row gets the approved date, so the queue tab and the tracker agree.

Build a list of published 3D products

Each published product is added to a live tab, giving merchandisers a list of products whose 3D and AR views are ready for the store.

Index projects as they are created

New VNTANA projects go to a projects tab, which helps when several brands or seasons share one VNTANA account.

Project AddedAdd New Row

Set up: new products in a tracker

At the end, every product added in VNTANA is written to your tracker as one row.

  1. Prepare the tracker

Add a header row such as Product ID, Name, SKU, Project, Added, Status and Approved.

  2. Connect VNTANA and Google Sheets

In FlowMattic, open Connects and add your VNTANA account and a Google Sheets account with edit access.

  3. Start with Product Added

Create a workflow with the VNTANA Product Added trigger, then add a test product so FlowMattic captures its fields.

  4. Map and switch on

Add Google Sheets Add New Row, map the product fields to your columns, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • VNTANA has a separate trigger for each stage, such as Product Processing, Product Completed and Product Published. Use the product ID as the key so each stage updates the same row.
  • Products added before the workflow existed have no row. Add a Router that adds one when Lookup Row Data finds no match.
  • Field names depend on the event VNTANA sends, so the mapping above is an example. Check a captured product before you name columns.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

VNTANA and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

One status line per model

Added, processed, approved and published dates sit in the same row, so bottlenecks in the 3D pipeline are visible.

Readable by the whole team

Merchandisers and managers follow progress in a shared sheet without needing access to VNTANA.

Large catalogues, flat cost

FlowMattic runs on your own WordPress site with unlimited runs, so tracking every stage of thousands of products costs the same.

Common questions

How do I track VNTANA products in Google Sheets?

Create a FlowMattic workflow with the VNTANA Product Added trigger and a Google Sheets Add New Row step. Then add workflows for later stages that find the row by product ID and update its status.

Can I see which models failed processing?

Yes. The Product Failed trigger can add each failure to its own tab, or update the status in the product's main row with Lookup Row Data and Update Cell Data.

Can the sheet show what is waiting for approval?

Yes. Log Product Pending Approval to a queue tab, then record Product Approved and Product Rejected in the product's row so finished reviews drop out of the queue.

Can I alert someone when a product is rejected?

Yes. Build a workflow on Product Rejected that logs the product and adds an Email (SMTP) step to the artist or vendor who supplied the model.
