Connect iDenfy and Slack

iDenfy checks people, companies and AML watchlists, and your compliance team decides what happens next. FlowMattic posts each verification result, AML change and expiring document to the Slack channel that handles it, and sets reminders for the follow-up. For fintech, marketplace and lending teams that review KYC cases together in Slack.

When iDenfy fires AML Monitoring, FlowMattic runs Send Channel Message in Slack with the data from that event.

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Alert the risk channel on every AML monitoring event

When a monitored subject is checked, accepted or declined, the subject and result post to the risk channel, so an analyst opens the case in iDenfy while it is fresh.

Send failed identity checks to a private compliance channel

A Filter keeps verifications that were not approved. Posting them to a private channel keeps client details away from the wider company while reviewers look at the reason.

Sort facial authentication results by outcome

Sessions end in success, failure or expiry. A Router sends failures to the fraud channel and expiries to support, who can send the client a fresh link.

Chase a new document before the old one expires

The onboarding channel hears which client's document is close to expiry, and Add Reminder sets a follow-up for whoever asks the client to verify again.

Open a review channel for each company verification

Business onboarding often involves several beneficiaries. A channel per company, with the analyst invited, keeps questions and the final decision for that company in one place.

Log manual company AML decisions in an audit channel

Company AML Review fires when someone changes a review status by hand, so each manual call on a company or its beneficiaries is posted where the compliance lead can see it.

Tell onboarding when iDenfy asks a company for more information

Company Info Request also fires when the company form token expires. Posting it lets someone contact the business before the application stalls.

Set up: AML monitoring alerts

At the end, every AML monitoring event from iDenfy posts the subject and its result to your risk channel.

  1. Connect Slack

Add your Slack workspace under Connects in FlowMattic.

  2. Start with AML Monitoring

Create a workflow with iDenfy and AML Monitoring, then follow the trigger's instructions so iDenfy sends its monitoring callbacks to the workflow.

  3. Capture a monitoring event

Run a check on a test subject in iDenfy so FlowMattic captures the fields of a real event.

  4. Post to the risk channel

Add Slack Send Channel Message, pick the channel, map the subject, status and reference into the text, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Field names depend on the event iDenfy sends, so the mapping above is an example. Capture a test event and pick from the fields that arrive.
  • Identity data is sensitive. Post references and statuses rather than document numbers, and use a private channel for anything a reviewer needs to see.
  • Facial Authentication fires for success, failure and expiry alike. Put a Filter or Router on the status before posting so the channel only hears what needs action.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

iDenfy and Slack connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Reviewers see cases as they close

Analysts get each verification and AML result in the channel they already watch, instead of refreshing the iDenfy dashboard between reviews.

Client data stays on your server

Verification results pass through your own WordPress site on their way to Slack, not through another automation company's account.

Onboarding volume costs the same

Runs are unlimited, so a month with thousands of KYC checks needs no bigger plan than a quiet month.

Common questions

How do I get iDenfy verification results in Slack?

Start a FlowMattic workflow with Identity Verification Completed, follow the trigger's instructions so iDenfy sends its callback to the workflow, then add Slack Send Channel Message and map the client reference and status into the text.

Can I post only declined or suspected verifications?

Yes. Add a Filter after the trigger that continues only when the status is not approved. Approved checks then pass silently and the channel only shows cases that need a person.

Can company checks go to a different channel than personal ones?

Yes. Company Review and Identity Verification Completed are separate triggers, so each workflow posts to its own channel. Business onboarding and consumer KYC can have different reviewers.

Should document images go into Slack?

Usually not. Most teams post the client reference, the result and a link back to the case, and keep documents and photos in iDenfy where access is controlled.

Can the team be reminded about documents that are about to expire?

Yes. Document Expiration fires when a document is near expiry or has expired. Post it to the onboarding channel and add Add Reminder so the owner contacts the client in time.
