Connect Privy and Google Sheets

Privy captures emails on your store with popups and flyouts, and reports orders that follow. FlowMattic writes both to Google Sheets, so you can see which signups turned into customers, compare campaigns, and keep your own list of every address a popup collected.

Privy and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Log new Privy signups in a sheet

Each signup from a popup or form becomes a row with email and campaign, giving the marketing team a list they can segment and share.

Record Privy orders in a sales tab

Every order Privy reports becomes a row with customer, total and date, so popup-driven revenue sits next to the signup list.

Mark a signup as converted when they buy

On each order, look the email up in the signup tab and set a Converted column with the order date. Your sheet then shows the conversion rate per campaign.

Split signups by campaign tab

A Router writes each signup to the tab of the campaign that caught it, so the exit popup and the spin wheel can be compared.

Add only email addresses you have not seen before

Set up: signups as rows

When you are done, each new Privy signup adds a row to your sheet.

  1. Add the columns

Create a sheet with headers such as Email, Campaign, Signed up and Converted.

  2. Connect Google Sheets

In Connects, add a Google account that can edit the spreadsheet.

  3. Start with Signup(s)

Create a workflow with the Privy Signup(s) trigger and complete the setup the trigger step asks for.

  4. Sign up yourself

Submit one of your Privy popups so FlowMattic captures a signup.

  5. Map and switch on

Add Google Sheets Add New Row, map the fields, test the step and turn the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • The conversion workflow matches by email, so it only works when the buyer uses the same address they signed up with.
  • Fields depend on what each Privy form collects, so the mapping is an example.
  • Signups and orders are separate triggers. Build one workflow for each and write to different tabs.

Triggers (2)

  • Signup(s)Triggers when a new signup happens.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Privy and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Customer data on your server

Signups and orders pass through your own WordPress site to the sheet, not through another automation company.

Big sale days cost the same

Runs are unlimited, so a holiday campaign with thousands of signups needs no bigger plan.

See what popups earn

Signups and orders side by side show which campaigns bring buyers, not only emails.

Common questions

How do I connect Privy to Google Sheets?

Create a workflow with the Privy Signup(s) trigger and a Google Sheets Add New Row step, map the email and campaign fields, test it with a real signup and switch it on.

Can I see which signups bought something?

Yes. Build an Order(s) workflow that looks up the buyer's email in your signup tab and marks the row as converted with Update Row.

Can I keep duplicates out?

Yes. Search the email column with Lookup Row Data, then add a Filter so Add New Row runs only when no row was found.

Can I see results per campaign?

Yes. Map the campaign to its own column and use a pivot table, or use a Router to write each campaign to its own tab.
