Better Uptime alerts the on-call person. A spreadsheet is where many teams keep the history: when each incident started and ended, which monitors were paused or changed, and who was on call. FlowMattic writes all three to Google Sheets, and a sheet of client URLs can create new monitors for you.

Better Uptime and Google Sheets workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Ready-made template
Log every monitor created, paused, updated or deleted
A change history of your monitors shows who paused what and when, which helps when an outage went unnoticed because a check was switched off.
Keep one row per incident from start to resolution
The first notification adds a row. Later acknowledge and resolve notifications find it by incident ID and fill in those times, so each outage reads as one line.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
Incident Notification fires when an incident is created, acknowledged or resolved, so one trigger covers all three. Use a Router on the event type to treat them differently.
Monitor Notification also covers paused, unpaused and deleted monitors. Add a Filter if you only want, for example, pauses in the log.
Better Uptime's actions here create monitors, incidents and status pages but do not edit or delete a monitor, so changing an existing check still happens in Better Uptime.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Better Uptime and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Your incident history, your copy
Incident and monitor data go from Better Uptime to your sheet through your own WordPress server, not another automation service.
A bad night costs the same
Runs are unlimited, so a flapping monitor that sends dozens of notifications does not use up a task allowance.
Reports anyone can read
Clients and managers who never open Better Uptime can see outage durations and on-call cover in a shared sheet.
Common questions
How do I log Better Uptime incidents in Google Sheets?
Use the Incident Notification trigger and Google Sheets Add New Row. To keep one row per incident, look up the incident ID first and update the existing row when the incident is acknowledged or resolved.
Can I work out how long each outage lasted?
Yes. Store the created and resolved times in their own columns and use a sheet formula for the difference. Date/Time Formatter can put both in a format the sheet reads as a date.
Can I create status pages from a sheet?
Yes. A New Spreadsheet Row trigger can run Create Status Page, then Create Status Page Section and Create Status Page Resource to add monitors to it.
Who gets alerted when the sheet creates an incident?
Create Incident alerts the current on-call person in Better Uptime, the same as an incident from a failed check.
