Keep a Google Sheet that always matches your FlowMattic Bookings calendar. New bookings become rows, reschedules, cancellations and no-shows update the row they belong to, and a status column in the sheet can cancel or add bookings. Useful for teams that report, invoice or plan staff from a spreadsheet.

Bookings and Google Sheets workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Ready-made template
Add every new booking as a row in Google Sheets
The sheet becomes the running record of who booked which calendar and when, ready for weekly reports or a shared view for staff who never open wp-admin.
Look the booking up by its ID and write the new time into the same row, so the sheet never shows two entries for one appointment.
Booking Rescheduled→Lookup Row Data→Update Row
Mark cancelled bookings in the sheet instead of deleting them
Setting the status column to cancelled keeps the history. You can still count cancellations per calendar each month and see which slots opened up.
Booking Cancelled→Lookup Row Data→Update Row
Keep a no-show list on its own tab
Clinics and consultants who charge for missed sessions get one tab of no-shows with name, email and date, which is the list they work from when following up.
Booking Marked No-Show→Add New Row
Book sessions from rows your team adds to a sheet
Office staff plan sessions in a sheet they already use. Each new row creates the booking on the chosen calendar, and the booking ID is written back to the row.
New Spreadsheet Row→Add Booking→Update Row
Cancel a booking by changing its status cell
When someone types cancel in the status column, a Filter checks the value and the workflow cancels the booking with the ID stored in that row.
Update Specific Column Value→Filter→Cancel Booking
Export next week's bookings to a fresh tab every Friday
A Schedule finds the coming week's bookings, an Iterator walks the list and each one is added to a new sheet, so the rota for next week is ready before Monday.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
Store the booking ID in its own column. The reschedule, cancel and no-show workflows find the right row by searching that column with Lookup Row Data.
Bookings is part of FlowMattic, so it needs no separate connection. Only the Google account behind the Google Sheets connection has to be added under Connects.
Rows added by the Book sessions example trigger New Spreadsheet Row too. Keep bookings coming from the calendar in a different sheet, or the two workflows will feed each other.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Bookings and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
One row per appointment, kept current
Reschedules and cancellations update the original row, so the sheet can be trusted for staff planning and monthly counts.
Booking data stays on your site
Bookings live in your WordPress database and FlowMattic runs there too, so attendee details only leave your server for the Google sheet you chose.
Busy calendars cost nothing extra
Runs are unlimited on every plan, so a calendar with hundreds of sessions a week needs no bigger plan than one with five.
Common questions
How do I send FlowMattic bookings to Google Sheets?
Start a workflow with the New Booking trigger, pick your calendar and add a Google Sheets Add New Row step. Map the attendee, calendar and time fields to columns, test with one booking and switch it on.
Can I log bookings from several calendars in one sheet?
Yes. Point each calendar's workflow at the same spreadsheet and write the calendar name in its own column. If you would rather keep them apart, a Router can send each calendar's bookings to its own tab.
Will a rescheduled booking create a second row?
Not if you use Booking Rescheduled with Lookup Row Data and Update Row. The lookup finds the row by booking ID and the update writes the new time into it.
Can I create bookings from Google Sheets?
Yes. Use New Spreadsheet Row as the trigger and the Bookings Add Booking action. Each row needs the calendar, the attendee's name and email, and a start time the calendar can accept.
Can I bring in bookings made before the workflow existed?
Yes. Run a workflow once with Find Bookings for the date range you want, loop over the results with Iterator and add each booking as a row.
