Know what your customers are doing with your Quotient quotes without checking the dashboard. Slack tells the sales team when a quote is opened, asked about, accepted or turned down, reminds the owner to follow up, and opens a project channel when a job is won.

When Quotient fires Customer Viewed Quote, FlowMattic runs Send Channel Message in Slack with the data from that event.

Quotient and Slack workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Ready-made template
Ping sales when a customer opens a quote
A view is the best moment to call. The message names the customer and the quote, so the salesperson can follow up while the details are on the customer's screen.
Every acceptance posts the customer, quote title and total to a wins channel, so the team sees closed work and operations can start planning the job.
Quote Accepted→Send Channel Message
Send customer questions to the quote's owner
When a customer asks a question on a quote, Slack finds the salesperson by email and sends them the question directly, so it is answered by the person who wrote the quote.
Customer Asked Question→Find User by Email→Send Direct Message
Set a follow-up reminder when a quote is sent
Each sent quote adds a Slack reminder for a few days later with the customer's name, so no quote sits unanswered because everyone assumed someone else would chase it.
Quote Sent→Add Reminder
Tell managers privately about declined quotes
Declines go to a private channel for sales managers with the quote and any reason given, which helps spot pricing problems without discussing lost deals in public.
Quote Declined→Send Private Channel Message
Open a project channel for each won job
An accepted quote creates a channel named after the customer, sets the topic to the quote title and invites the project lead, so delivery starts with a place to talk.
Quote Accepted→Create Channel→Set Channel Topic→Invite User To Channel
Flag large wins to the leadership channel
A Router compares the quote total with your threshold. Big jobs post in the leadership channel as well as the wins channel, while smaller ones stay in the team room.
Quote Accepted→Router→Send Channel Message
Set up: ping sales on a quote view
When you finish, each time a customer opens a Quotient quote, a message appears in your sales channel.
1
Connect Slack
In FlowMattic, open Connects and add a Slack connection for your sales workspace.
2
Choose Customer Viewed Quote
Create a workflow with Quotient and Customer Viewed Quote, and follow the steps shown to link your Quotient account.
3
Capture a real view
Open one of your quotes as a customer would, so FlowMattic captures the quote and customer fields.
4
Write the alert
Add a Slack Send Channel Message step, include the customer, quote title and link, test it and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
Customer Viewed Quote runs every time the quote is opened, so a customer who checks it five times sends five alerts. Point it at a quieter channel if that is too much.
Quotient has no actions here and Slack has no triggers, so these workflows run one way, from Quotient into Slack.
Invite User To Channel needs the connected Slack account to be a member of the channel, which it is when the same workflow created it.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Quotient and Slack connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Quote details stay private
Customer names and quote totals pass from Quotient to Slack through your own WordPress site rather than another company's automation account.
Every view can alert
Runs are unlimited, so alerting on each view, question and acceptance costs the same as alerting on wins alone.
Different events, different places
Views, questions, wins and declines each go where they belong: a channel, a direct message, a private room or a reminder.
Common questions
Which Quotient Slack integrations can I build?
Any of the five Quotient triggers, Quote Sent, Customer Viewed Quote, Customer Asked Question, Quote Accepted and Quote Declined, can post to a channel, send a direct message, set a reminder or open a new channel in Slack.
Can I reply to a customer's question from Slack?
No. Quotient has no actions on this pair, so the answer is still written in Quotient. Slack makes sure the right person sees the question first.
Can each salesperson get only their own alerts?
Yes, if the quote data includes the owner's email. Use Find User by Email and Send Direct Message instead of a channel message, or a Lookup Table from owner name to Slack email.
How do I stop repeat view alerts flooding the channel?
Send view alerts to their own channel, or use a Router so only views of quotes above a certain total reach the main sales channel.
Can a won quote start other work too?
Yes. The same Quote Accepted workflow can add more steps after Slack, for example creating a project task or emailing the customer a welcome from your site.
