Connect Zoom and Google Sheets

Zoom runs the meeting, but the lists around it, who signed up, who came, where the recording is, usually end up in a spreadsheet. FlowMattic fills that Google Sheet from Zoom events on your WordPress site, and can work the other way to register people listed in a sheet. Good for webinar hosts, trainers and sales teams.

When Zoom fires New Meeting Registrant, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

Zoom and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Add new Zoom meeting registrants to Google Sheets

Each person who registers for a meeting gets a row with name, email and the meeting topic, so you can share the list with co-hosts before the session.

Keep a webinar registrant list with a tab per webinar

A Router reads the webinar topic and writes each registrant into that webinar's tab, so every session has its own sign-up count and follow-up list.

Write the attendance list when the meeting ends

Find Meeting or Webinar Participants pulls everyone who joined, and an Iterator writes each one as a row, so trainers have proof of attendance for every session.

Mark registrants who cancel

When a registrant cancels, find their row by email and set the status to Cancelled, so the reminder list and the head count stay correct.

Keep an index of cloud recordings

Each completed recording adds a row with the meeting topic, date and share link, so a team can find last month's demo without searching Zoom.

Register everyone added to a sheet for a meeting

Paste attendees from a partner or a sales list into the sheet. Each new row runs Create Meeting Registrant, and Update Row writes their personal join link back.

Log each meeting summary for later reference

When Zoom finishes the meeting summary, the topic, date and summary text go into a row, giving the team a searchable record of what was discussed.

Set up: meeting registrants as rows

When you finish, everyone who registers for your Zoom meetings is written to your sheet as one row.

  1. Turn on registration

In Zoom, require registration on the meeting. Registrant triggers and actions only apply to meetings that use it.

  2. Connect Zoom and Google Sheets

Under Connects, add the Zoom account that hosts the meetings and a Google account that can edit the spreadsheet.

  3. Start with New Meeting Registrant

Create a workflow with the Zoom New Meeting Registrant trigger and register yourself for a test meeting to capture the data.

  4. Map Add New Row

Add Google Sheets Add New Row, choose the tab, map the registrant fields to columns, test and switch the workflow on.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Zoom and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Every session in one workbook

Sign-ups, attendance, cancellations and recordings land in sheets you can share, sort and report on.

Webinar series cost the same

Runs are unlimited, so a weekly webinar with hundreds of registrants needs no bigger FlowMattic plan.

Attendee data on your own site

Names and emails pass from Zoom to Google through your WordPress server rather than another company's automation account.

Common questions

How do I add Zoom registrants to Google Sheets automatically?

Start a workflow with New Meeting Registrant or New Webinar Registrant, then add Google Sheets Add New Row and map name, email and meeting topic to columns. Registration must be turned on for the meeting.

Can I tell who registered but did not attend?

Yes. Log registrants with one workflow, then after Meeting Ended use Find Meeting or Webinar Participants and Lookup Row Data to mark each attendee's row. Rows left unmarked are your no-shows.

Can a Google Sheet create Zoom meetings?

Yes. A Google Sheets trigger such as New Spreadsheet Row can run Create Meeting with the topic and time from the row, then Update Row can write the join link back.

Do webinars and meetings need separate workflows?

Yes, they use different triggers, such as New Meeting Registrant and New Webinar Registrant. Both can write to the same spreadsheet.

Can I keep the recording link in the sheet?

Yes. New Cloud Recording fires when a recording is ready, and you can map its share link and meeting topic into a row.
