Many teams send email from Mailchimp and sell from HubSpot CRM. FlowMattic copies what happens in your Mailchimp audience into HubSpot from your WordPress site: new subscribers become contacts, profile edits and address changes update them, and cleaned or unsubscribed addresses are flagged so sales knows who not to email.

Mailchimp and HubSpot CRM workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Ready-made template
Create a HubSpot contact for each new Mailchimp subscriber
Newsletter sign-ups become CRM contacts with name and email, so sales can see who has shown interest without exporting the audience.
If your signup form has a Request a quote checkbox, a Filter picks those subscribers out. They get a contact and a deal in your pipeline in one run.
New Subscriber→Filter→Create Contact→Create Deal
Copy Mailchimp profile edits to HubSpot
When a subscriber updates their preferences or company name in Mailchimp, Get Contact finds the HubSpot record and Update Contact writes the new values.
Profile Updates→Get Contact→Update Contact
Take unsubscribers off your HubSpot newsletter list
A person who leaves the Mailchimp audience is removed from the matching static list in HubSpot, so list-based reports and sales sequences respect the choice.
New Unsubscriber→Remove Contact from List
Keep the email on the HubSpot contact current
When someone changes their address in Mailchimp, the old address in HubSpot goes stale. This workflow finds the contact and writes the new address.
Email Address Changes→Get Contact→Update Contact
Flag cleaned addresses in HubSpot
Mailchimp cleans addresses that keep bouncing. Writing that status to a HubSpot property tells reps the address does not work before they spend time on it.
Cleaned Emails→Update Contact
Set up: subscribers into HubSpot
Once this is on, each person who joins your Mailchimp audience appears in HubSpot CRM as a contact.
1
Connect Mailchimp
Under Connects, add Mailchimp with the account that owns the audience.
2
Connect HubSpot CRM
Add a HubSpot CRM connection with a user that can create contacts.
3
Use New Subscriber
Create a workflow with Mailchimp New Subscriber, choose the audience, and subscribe a test address so FlowMattic captures the fields.
4
Create the contact
Add HubSpot Create Contact, map email and merge fields to properties, test the step and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
HubSpot CRM has no triggers in FlowMattic, so data moves from Mailchimp to HubSpot only. A deal won in HubSpot cannot tag the subscriber in Mailchimp through this pair.
Merge field names such as FNAME and LNAME are Mailchimp's defaults. If your audience uses custom merge fields, map those instead.
Update Contact needs the HubSpot contact to change. Add Get Contact first, as in the examples, so the right record is updated.
Remove Contact from List works on static lists, so use a static list in HubSpot for newsletter subscribers.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Mailchimp and HubSpot CRM connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
One audience, no CSV exports
The CRM gets each subscriber when they join, instead of from a spreadsheet someone remembers to upload once a month.
Busy lists cost the same
There are no per-task charges. A list that gains thousands of subscribers a month runs on the same FlowMattic plan as a small one.
Runs from your WordPress site
Subscriber details pass through your own server between Mailchimp and HubSpot, with each run logged in your own install.
Common questions
Will existing Mailchimp subscribers be copied to HubSpot?
No. New Subscriber fires for people who join after the workflow is switched on. Import your current audience into HubSpot once with a CSV, then let the workflow handle every new sign-up.
What happens if the subscriber is already a HubSpot contact?
Use Get Contact first and a Router after it. One path updates the existing contact with Update Contact, the other runs Create Contact for someone new.
Can I sync Mailchimp tags to HubSpot?
There is no tag trigger in Mailchimp here, but Profile Updates fires when a subscriber's profile changes. You can copy merge fields and interests into HubSpot properties from that trigger.
Can unsubscribing in Mailchimp remove the contact from HubSpot entirely?
You can, with Archive Contact after New Unsubscriber. Think twice first: leaving a newsletter is not the same as ending a customer relationship, so many teams only remove the person from the newsletter list and keep the contact for sales.
