A list full of mistyped or dead addresses hurts every campaign you send from it. FlowMattic runs MailRefine's Verify Email on addresses in your Google Sheets from your WordPress site, writes the result next to each one and can move the bad ones aside, so the sheet you hand to marketing is already checked.

When Google Sheets fires New Spreadsheet Row, FlowMattic runs Verify Email in MailRefine with the data from that event.

MailRefine and Google Sheets workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Verify each new address and write the result in its row
As rows arrive from imports, events or a sales team, MailRefine checks the email and the verdict goes into a Status column beside it, so nobody mails an address that failed.
New Spreadsheet Row→Verify Email→Update Row
Clean an existing list in nightly batches
A Schedule reads the next block of unchecked rows, an Iterator verifies them one by one, and each result is written back, working through a large list without manual effort.
When verification fails, the row is copied to a Review tab and deleted from the main list, which leaves the main tab clean for sending and keeps the rejects for a second look.
New Spreadsheet Row→Verify Email→Filter→Add New Row→Delete Row
Screen leads from any form before they reach the sheet
Landing pages and tools that can send a Webhook pass each lead to FlowMattic. Only addresses that pass MailRefine are added as rows, so the lead sheet starts clean.
Webhook→Verify Email→Filter→Add New Row
Re-check an address when someone corrects it
If a teammate fixes a typo in the email column, that cell is verified again and the status cell is updated, so a corrected contact goes back on the list.
Update Specific Column Value→Verify Email→Update Cell Data
When you finish, every new row in your sheet has its email checked by MailRefine and the result written into the same row.
1
Add a status column
In your sheet, add a column such as Email status next to the email column.
2
Connect both apps
Add your MailRefine and Google Sheets accounts under Connects in FlowMattic.
3
Trigger on new rows
Start with Google Sheets New Spreadsheet Row, choose the sheet and tab, and add a test row with a real address.
4
Verify the address
Add MailRefine Verify Email and map the email column from the trigger.
5
Write the result
Add Google Sheets Update Row with the row ID from the trigger, map the verification result into Email status, test and switch on.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
Each workflow on this page starts from Google Sheets, a Schedule or a Webhook, and checks addresses with Verify Email.
When you write the result back to the same row, trigger on New Spreadsheet Row rather than New Or Updated Spreadsheet Row, or the update will start the workflow again.
Check which result fields Verify Email returns on your first test, and map the one that says valid or invalid into the sheet.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
MailRefine and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Checked before you send
Addresses are verified as they enter the sheet, so problems are found before a campaign, not in the bounce report afterwards.
Big lists, no task count
FlowMattic runs are unlimited, so checking a list of thousands needs no larger automation plan.
Lists stay with you
Workflows run on your WordPress server, so your contact lists pass between Google Sheets and MailRefine through your own site.
Common questions
Can MailRefine verify a whole Google Sheet of emails?
Yes. Use a Schedule with Get Row Data to read a range of rows, loop with Iterator, run Verify Email for each and write the result with Update Row.
Can I verify emails before they are added to the sheet?
Yes. Start from a Webhook or a form trigger, run Verify Email, and use a Filter so only valid addresses reach Add New Row.
Will editing a row verify it again?
Only if you build a workflow for it. Update Specific Column Value on the email column can re-run Verify Email whenever that column changes.
Can I delete invalid rows automatically?
Yes. After Verify Email, a Filter that continues on invalid results can run Delete Row with the row ID. Copy the row to another tab first if you want a record.
