ARForms puts popup, sticky, multi-step and contact forms on your WordPress site. FlowMattic sends their submissions to Google Sheets with the form they came from, keeps only the ones that match a keyword, splits newsletter popups from sales enquiries and removes people who ask to be taken off. For site owners comparing which form brings in leads.

1. TriggerNew Form Submission

When ARForms fires New Form Submission, FlowMattic runs Add New Row in Google Sheets with the data from that event.

ARForms and Google Sheets workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Ready-made template
Log only submissions whose answer contains a keyword
A Filter checks a field for a word, such as enterprise in the company size answer, and only those submissions are added, giving sales a short list of the leads they care about.
Compare popup, sticky and inline forms in one sheet
Every submission is written with the form's name in a Source column, so a pivot table shows which form type on your site brings in the most leads.
New Form Submission→Add New Row
Send newsletter popups and sales enquiries to separate tabs
A Branch checks which form was used. Popup sign-ups go to the newsletter tab and contact form enquiries to the sales tab, so each team opens only its own list.
New Form Submission→Branch→Add New Row
Remove people from the sheet when they use your opt-out form
Lookup Row Data finds their email on the list and Delete Row takes the row out, so a person who asks to be removed does not stay on the export.
New Form Submission→Lookup Row Data→Delete Row
Turn multiple-choice answers into one readable cell
Checkbox questions can arrive as a list. Text Formatter joins the choices with commas so the sheet shows each person's interests in one cell you can search.
New Form Submission→Text Formatter→Add New Row
Log multi-step quote requests with a calculated estimate
Number Formatter tidies the estimate your multi-step form calculates, so the sheet holds a number sales can sort by size before they call back.
New Form Submission→Number Formatter→Add New Row
Set up: keyword matches logged
At the end, ARForms submissions whose answer contains your keyword are added to your Google Sheet.
1
Connect Google Sheets
Under Connects, add a Google Sheets connection that can edit the spreadsheet. ARForms runs on your site and needs no connection.
2
Start with New Form Submission
Create a workflow with the ARForms New Form Submission trigger, choose the form and send a test submission so its fields are captured.
3
Add the Filter
Add a Filter that continues only when the field you choose contains your keyword.
4
Write the row
Add Add New Row, map the fields to columns, test it with a matching submission and switch the workflow on.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
ARForms and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Forms and workflows share one site
ARForms and FlowMattic both run on your WordPress install, so submissions go from your site to the sheet with no other service in between.
Popups can be busy
Runs are unlimited, so a popup that collects thousands of sign-ups in a promotion week costs nothing more in FlowMattic.
Removal requests are honoured
An opt-out form that deletes the person's row means your sheet matches what people asked for, without a monthly clean-up.
Common questions
How do I send ARForms submissions to Google Sheets?
Create a workflow with the ARForms New Form Submission trigger, add Google Sheets Add New Row and map the form's fields to columns. Send a test submission, then switch the workflow on.
Does ARForms need an API key or connection?
No. ARForms is a WordPress plugin on the same site as FlowMattic, so the trigger reads submissions directly. Only Google Sheets needs a connection under Connects.
Can one workflow handle several ARForms forms?
Yes. Add a Branch or Router that checks the form name or ID and writes each one to its own tab, or build one workflow per form if the fields differ a lot.
Can I export the sheet for my email tool?
Yes. Export sheet to CSV saves the tab as a CSV file in your WordPress Media Library, and a Schedule can run that export every week.
Will entries from before the workflow existed be added?
No. The trigger only sees new submissions. Export older entries from ARForms once and import them into the sheet before you switch the workflow on.
