PageProof runs reviews and approvals for creative work. FlowMattic tells Slack when a proof moves: a status change to the project channel, an approved proof to production, an overdue proof to the person holding it up. For agencies, in-house creative teams and print studios who review artwork and video in PageProof.

When PageProof fires Proof Status Changed, FlowMattic runs Send Channel Message in Slack with the data from that event.

PageProof and Slack workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Post PageProof status changes to a Slack channel
Each proof that changes status posts its name and new status to the project channel, so designers and account managers know where a review stands without logging in.
A Filter passes only proofs that reach approved, and the production channel gets the proof name and link so printing or publishing starts the same day.
Proof Status Changed→Filter→Send Channel Message
DM the proof owner when a proof goes overdue
Proof Overdue posts to the owner directly. Find User by Email matches their PageProof email to Slack, so the nudge reaches the person who can chase reviewers.
Proof Overdue→Find User by Email→Send Direct Message
Post each workflow step to the team that reviews it
Workflow Step Reached fires as a proof enters a step. A Router sends legal steps to the legal channel and brand steps to the brand team, so reviewers know it is their turn.
Workflow Step Reached→Router→Send Channel Message
Let client services see every new proof
Proof Created posts to a private client-services channel, so account managers know what has gone out for review before the client asks about it.
Proof Created→Send Private Channel Message
Keep a record of deleted proofs in Slack
Proof Deleted posts the proof name and time to an audit channel, so a removed proof can be traced if a client later asks what happened to it.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
PageProof and Slack connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Reviews keep moving
Reviewers learn it is their turn and owners hear about overdue proofs, so approval rounds do not stall in an inbox.
Client work stays on your server
Proof names and links pass through your own WordPress site on the way to Slack, not through an outside automation account.
Every proof, one price
Runs are unlimited on every FlowMattic plan, so a busy campaign season with hundreds of proofs costs nothing extra.
Common questions
How do I get PageProof updates in Slack?
Create a FlowMattic workflow with a PageProof trigger such as Proof Status Changed, follow its setup instructions, then add Slack Send Channel Message with the proof name, status and link mapped.
Can only approved proofs post?
Yes. Add a Filter after Proof Status Changed that passes only the approved status. Other changes end without a message.
Can reviewers be told when it is their turn?
Yes. Use Workflow Step Reached and a Router on the step name, so each step posts to the channel of the people who review it, or DM them with Send Direct Message.
Can archived proofs be posted too?
Yes. Proof Archived and Proof Unarchived are separate triggers. Post them to the project channel so everyone knows a job is closed or reopened.
Can clients see these messages?
Only if they are in the Slack channel you post to. Most agencies keep these alerts in internal channels and share proof links with clients from PageProof.
