Connect FunnelKit Automations (Autonami) and Google Sheets

FunnelKit Automations keeps your contacts inside WordPress, while partners, sales staff and event teams often work from a spreadsheet. FlowMattic moves contacts both ways: new subscribers and hot-lead tags land in Google Sheets, rows from a sheet become contacts, and a column edit can tag someone. It suits WooCommerce stores and course sites that run email from FunnelKit.

FunnelKit Automations (Autonami) and Google Sheets workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Log every new subscriber in a Google Sheet

When a contact subscribes, their name, email and date go into a sheet, which gives partners or a VA a list to work from without WordPress access.

Create contacts from an attendee sheet

Event or workshop staff add attendees to a sheet. Each new row becomes a FunnelKit Automations contact, ready for the follow-up emails after the event.

Tag contacts by typing in a sheet column

Sales staff write a tag such as Called or Interested in a column. FlowMattic finds the contact by email and adds that tag, which can start a FunnelKit automation.

Mark unsubscribed contacts in the sheet

When someone unsubscribes, their row is found by email and its status cell updated, so nobody on the sheet contacts them again by mistake.

Export a list to a sheet every Monday

A weekly Schedule pulls the contacts on a list, such as Customers or Affiliates, and imports them into a sheet as JSON, giving you a fresh snapshot to share.

Hand hot leads to sales in a shared sheet

A Filter keeps only the tag that marks a hot lead, such as Pricing Viewed, and adds the contact to the sales team's call sheet.

Set up: new subscribers logged in a sheet

At the end, each new FunnelKit Automations subscriber is added as a row in your Google Sheet.

  1. Prepare the sheet

Create a spreadsheet with columns such as Email, First name, Last name, Subscribed on and Source.

  2. Connect Google Sheets

Add Google Sheets under Connects in FlowMattic. FunnelKit Automations runs on the same WordPress site.

  3. Choose Contact Subscribed

Start a workflow with the FunnelKit Automations Contact Subscribed trigger and subscribe a test contact so FlowMattic captures the data.

  4. Map Add New Row

Add Add New Row, pick the spreadsheet and tab, map the contact fields to the columns, test it and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Find contacts by email with Get Contact by Email before tagging or updating, so the sheet's email column is the key that links both sides.
  • When you combine both directions, write to a different tab from the one your Sheets trigger watches, or a new row can start another run.
  • Check the data from each FunnelKit Automations trigger in a test run before mapping, since the fields depend on the contact and the event.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

FunnelKit Automations (Autonami) and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Contacts stay in WordPress

FunnelKit Automations and FlowMattic run on the same site, so contact data leaves only for the sheet you choose.

The sheet can feed the CRM

Google Sheets triggers let a spreadsheet create and tag contacts, so people without WordPress access can still update your list.

Unlimited runs

No per-task pricing means a weekly export or a busy import day costs the same as a single new subscriber.

Common questions

Can I import a whole sheet of contacts at once?

Yes. Run a workflow with Get Row Data, loop over the rows with Iterator and send each one to Create New Contact. Run it once, then keep New Spreadsheet Row for new additions.

Can a sheet edit remove a tag?

Yes. Use Update Specific Column Value on the tag column, find the contact with Get Contact by Email and run Remove Tags From Contact.

Can I keep separate tabs for each list?

Yes. Build a workflow on List Added to Contact with a Router on the list name, and give each path its own Add New Row pointing at a different tab.

Is FunnelKit Automations the same as Autonami?

Yes. FunnelKit Automations was formerly called Autonami, which is why FlowMattic lists it as FunnelKit Automations (Autonami).
