Connect Elementor and Slack

When a visitor fills in an Elementor form, someone on your team usually needs to act. FlowMattic posts each Elementor Pro submission to Slack from your WordPress site, to a channel, a private room or straight to the right rep, and can sort, summarise or attach the files on the way so the person who reads it knows what to do.

When Elementor fires New Form Submission, FlowMattic runs Send Channel Message in Slack with the data from that event.

Elementor and Slack workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Post each Elementor form entry to a Slack channel

Contact and quote requests appear in a shared channel with the name, email and message, so whoever is free replies first.

Split pricing questions from support requests

A Router reads the message. Pricing and quote mentions go to the sales channel, and support questions go to the help channel, so neither team sifts through the other's work.

Send each lead to the rep for that service

Lookup Table maps the service picked on the form to a rep's email. Find User by Email locates them in Slack and the lead goes to them as a direct message.

Alert managers privately about large project enquiries

A Filter checks the budget field and posts only big enquiries to a private leadership channel, so senior people see the deals worth their time.

Share job applications and CVs with the hiring channel

A careers form built in Elementor uploads the applicant's CV to the hiring channel with their details, so the hiring team reviews candidates in one thread.

Remind the sales rep to call back at the requested time

A callback form asks when to call. Add Reminder sets a Slack reminder for that time, so the promised call is not left to memory.

Summarise long project briefs before posting

An AI Agent turns a long brief into three lines covering scope, budget and timing, and the summary is posted with a link to the full entry for anyone who wants the detail.

Set up: form entries in a Slack channel

When you finish, each submission of your Elementor form is posted in the Slack channel you choose.

  1. Connect Slack

Add a Slack connection under Connects with an account that is in the channel you want to post to.

  2. Start from New Form Submission

Create a workflow with the Elementor New Form Submission trigger and submit your form once so FlowMattic captures its fields.

  3. Add Send Channel Message

Add a Slack step with Send Channel Message, pick the channel and write the message using the name, email and message fields.

  4. Test and switch on

Test the step, check the post in Slack, then switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • The trigger reads forms built with the Elementor Pro Form widget, so Elementor Pro must be active.
  • Slack has no triggers in this pair, so replying in Slack does not send anything back to the visitor. Use an email step for that.
  • Field names come from your Elementor form, so the mapping above is an example. Give fields clear IDs to make them easy to map.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Elementor and Slack connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Leads reach a person, not an inbox

Submissions land in the Slack channel or DM of the person who should act, rather than a shared mailbox nobody owns.

Form data stays on your server

Entries go from your WordPress site to Slack directly, without an outside automation account in the middle.

No limit on form traffic

Runs are unlimited on every plan, so a campaign that fills your forms does not change what FlowMattic costs.

Common questions

Do I need Elementor Pro for Slack alerts?

Yes. Forms come from the Elementor Pro Form widget, and FlowMattic's New Form Submission trigger reads those entries.

Can different forms post to different channels?

Yes. Build one workflow per form, or use a Router on the form name in a single workflow with one Send Channel Message step per channel.

Can a lead go to one person instead of a channel?

Yes. Use Find User by Email with the rep's address, then Send Direct Message. Lookup Table can pick the rep from an answer on the form.

Can uploaded files appear in Slack?

Yes. Use Upload File with the upload field from the entry, or include the file link in a channel message.

Can the visitor get a reply from Slack?

Not directly, since Slack has no triggers here. Add an email step to the same workflow to acknowledge the visitor while Slack alerts the team.
