If your offer lives on a WordPress site, such as a members area, a course or a community, a Facebook lead is only useful once it reaches that site. FlowMattic creates a WordPress user or a private post for each lead, gives them the right role and records which campaign they came from. It is built for site owners who run lead ads to grow a membership or client base.

When Facebook Lead Ads fires New Lead, FlowMattic runs New User in WordPress with the data from that event.

Facebook Lead Ads and WordPress workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Create a WordPress user account for each new lead
A lead who asked for a free trial or community access gets an account straight away, using the name and email from the form.
New Lead→New User
Record the campaign on returning leads instead of failing
Get User by Email checks for an existing account first. A Router saves the new campaign name in user meta for known people and creates accounts only for new ones.
New Lead→Get User by Email→Router→Update User Meta
Give each campaign's leads its own user role
After the account is created, Add Role to User applies a role such as Trial or Webinar Guest, which your membership or access plugin can use to decide what they see.
New Lead→New User→Add Role to User
Keep each lead as a private post your team can browse
Agencies and estate agents store every lead as a private post in a leads post type, with the answers in the content, so staff can search them inside wp-admin.
New Lead→New Post
Import a form's older leads as private posts
A one-off or scheduled run pulls earlier leads with Retrieve Leads, loops over them with Iterator and adds each one, so the archive starts complete.
Schedule→Retrieve Leads→Iterator→New Post
Email new accounts how to log in
Once the user is created, Email (SMTP) sends the lead a short message with the login page and what is waiting for them, which turns a form fill into a first visit.
When you finish, each new lead from your Facebook form becomes a WordPress user on your site.
1
Connect Facebook Lead Ads
Add Facebook Lead Ads under Connects in FlowMattic with the account that manages your page. WordPress is the site FlowMattic runs on, so it needs no connection.
2
Choose New Lead
Start a workflow with the New Lead trigger, choose the page and form, and send a test lead so FlowMattic captures the answers.
3
Add New User
Add a WordPress step with New User and map the lead's email, first name and last name. Use the email as the username if your form has no username question.
4
Test and switch on
Run the step with the test lead, check the new user in wp-admin, delete it and switch the workflow on.

Triggers and actions in this pair
A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.
Good to know
WordPress will not create two users with the same email. Check with Get User by Email first if people may fill in more than one of your forms.
Facebook Lead Ads has two actions, Retrieve Leads and Retrieve Lead by Lead ID. Both read leads, so WordPress events cannot send anything back to Facebook.
Lead form fields depend on the questions you set in the form, so the mapping above is an example.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Facebook Lead Ads and WordPress connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Leads go straight into your site
FlowMattic is a WordPress plugin, so lead data lands in your own database with no export, import or outside service in between.
Big campaigns cost the same
Runs are unlimited on every plan, so a campaign that adds a thousand users a week does not change your bill.
Every WordPress step is there
With 71 WordPress actions, a lead can get an account, a role, user meta or a private post in the same workflow.
Common questions
Can a Facebook lead become a WordPress user automatically?
Yes. Use the New Lead trigger with the WordPress New User action and map the email and name. Add Get User by Email before it if the same person may sign up twice.
Can leads be added to a BuddyPress or BuddyBoss group?
The workflow library has templates that create the user from a lead and then add them to a BuddyPress or BuddyBoss group. Those steps come from the BuddyPress and BuddyBoss integrations, not from WordPress itself.
Can I store leads without giving them an account?
Yes. Use New Post with a private status, or a custom post type for leads, and put the answers in the content or custom fields.
Do new users get a password?
Send a welcome message with Email (SMTP) that links to your site's password reset page, so each new user chooses their own password the first time they log in.
