Connect Facebook Lead Ads and ClickUp

A Facebook lead is only worth something if someone calls it back. FlowMattic turns each lead form answer into a ClickUp task with the person's details, an owner and a checklist, so follow-up is tracked like any other piece of work. It suits agencies running ads for clients and sales teams that plan their day in ClickUp.

When Facebook Lead Ads fires New Lead, FlowMattic runs Create Task in ClickUp with the data from that event.

You build this in the FlowMattic workflow builder on your own site. See the setup steps

Facebook Lead Ads and ClickUp workflows you can build

Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.

Create a ClickUp follow-up task for every new lead

The lead's name, phone, email and answers go into a task in your Leads list, so the person calling back has everything in one place and the task shows when it is done.

Add a call, email and book checklist to each lead task

Create Checklist and Create Checklist Item put the same follow-up routine on every task, so new sales staff work each lead the same way.

File each client's leads in that client's ClickUp list

Agencies running ads for many clients use a Router on the form name, so leads from each campaign land in the right client list and nobody sorts them by hand.

Assign leads to the rep who covers their region

A Lookup Table matches the city or state answer to a sales rep, and the task is created with that rep as assignee, so territories are respected without a dispatcher.

Set task priority from an AI read of the lead's answers

An AI Agent looks at budget, timeline and the free text answer and returns urgent, high, normal or low. The task gets that priority, so the best leads are called first.

Chase lead tasks that nobody has touched after an hour

After a Delay, Get Task by Task ID checks the task status. If it is still open, a Filter lets the run continue and a comment mentioning the owner goes on the task.

Bring older leads from a form into ClickUp

Retrieve Leads pulls the leads a form already collected, and Iterator creates a task for each one. Useful when you start using ClickUp halfway through a campaign.

Set up: a follow-up task per lead

When you are done, each new lead from your chosen form becomes a task in the ClickUp list you pick.

  1. Connect Facebook Lead Ads

In FlowMattic, open Connects and add Facebook Lead Ads with the account that manages the page running the ads.

  2. Connect ClickUp

Add a ClickUp connection for the workspace where your sales team keeps its Leads list.

  3. Pick the New Lead trigger

Create a workflow with Facebook Lead Ads and New Lead, select the page and form, and send a test lead so the fields are captured.

  4. Build the task

Add ClickUp with Create Task, choose the list, put the full name in the task name and the other answers in the description, then test and switch on.

Triggers and actions in this pair

A trigger starts a workflow. An action is something FlowMattic does in the app as a step.

Good to know

  • Facebook Lead Ads has one trigger, New Lead, and one action, Retrieve Leads, so ClickUp cannot change anything in Facebook. Workflows mostly start from a new lead.
  • ClickUp's actions here cannot search tasks, so someone who submits the form twice gets two tasks. A Filter on a field such as the form ID can limit which forms create tasks.
  • The fields depend on the questions in your lead form, so treat the mapping above as an example.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic

Facebook Lead Ads and ClickUp connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.

Leads stay on your own site

Phone numbers and answers travel from Facebook through FlowMattic on your WordPress server to ClickUp, without another automation service keeping a copy.

Big campaigns, flat cost

Runs are unlimited, so a campaign that brings in hundreds of leads a day creates every task without moving you to a bigger plan.

Follow-up you can check on

Because each lead is a task with an owner, status and due date, managers see in ClickUp which leads were called and which were not.

Common questions

Can each lead go to a different ClickUp list?

Yes. Add a Router after New Lead with one path per form or campaign, and point each path's Create Task step at a different list.

Can I set a due date on the lead task?

Yes. Use a Date/Time Formatter step to add a day or a few hours to the lead's created time, and map the result to the task's due date.

Will leads collected before I set this up appear?

Not on their own, since New Lead only fires for new leads. Run Retrieve Leads once for the form, loop with Iterator and create a task for each lead.

Can the task include every answer from my lead form?

Yes. Each custom question on the form arrives as its own field after the test lead, so you can place them in the description in the order you like.

Can I notify the rep as well as creating the task?

ClickUp notifies assignees in its own app. If you want an email too, add an Email (SMTP) step after Create Task with the task link.
