Build the support reports you want in Google Sheets from Freshdesk data as it changes. New tickets, ticket updates, notes and contacts are written to a spreadsheet your managers can filter, chart and share, without exporting reports from the helpdesk each week.

Freshdesk and Google Sheets workflows you can build
Each one uses only triggers and actions the two integrations ship today, plus FlowMattic's own tools. Where the library has a ready-made template, import it instead of building from scratch.
Ready-made template
Add every new Freshdesk ticket as a row
Each ticket's ID, subject, requester, priority and created date goes to the sheet, giving managers a sortable list of support demand from the first day.
When a ticket is updated, Lookup Row Data finds its row by ticket ID and Update Row writes the new status, agent and priority, so the sheet shows where every ticket stands.
Update Ticket→Lookup Row Data→Update Row
Put urgent tickets on their own tab
A Router reads the priority. Urgent and high tickets go to an escalations tab that the team lead watches, and the rest go to the main log.
New Ticket→Router→Add New Row
Keep a shared list of Freshdesk contacts
Each new contact becomes a row with name, email and company, so sales and account managers can see who has contacted support without a Freshdesk seat.
New Contact→Add New Row
Log ticket notes for quality reviews
Every note added to a ticket is written to a notes tab with the ticket ID and author, which gives a quality lead one place to review how agents handle cases.
New Ticket Note→Add New Row
Tag each ticket with a topic before logging it
An AI Agent reads the subject and description and picks one topic from your list, such as billing or login. The topic column shows which problems create the most work.

Why run this pair with FlowMattic
Freshdesk and Google Sheets connect through FlowMattic on your own site, with no separate automation account in the middle and no charge per run.
Customer data stays with you
Ticket text and requester details go from Freshdesk to your sheet through your own WordPress server, without another automation provider in between.
Every ticket counts the same
Runs are unlimited, so logging every update on a busy helpdesk costs the same as logging a few new tickets.
Reports you can shape yourself
Once tickets are in Sheets, pivot tables and charts answer questions the built-in reports do not, such as tickets per topic per week.
Common questions
How do I set up a Google Sheets Freshdesk integration?
Connect Google Sheets in FlowMattic, start a workflow with the Freshdesk New Ticket trigger, and add an Add New Row step that maps ticket fields to your columns. Raise a test ticket, check the row and switch the workflow on.
Can the sheet show the current status of each ticket?
Yes. Add a second workflow on Update Ticket that runs Lookup Row Data on the ticket ID column and then Update Row with the new status and agent.
Can I update Freshdesk tickets from the sheet?
Not on this pair. Freshdesk has no actions in FlowMattic, so the sheet is a report. Changes are made in Freshdesk and flow into the sheet.
Can I log tickets from several Freshdesk groups in separate tabs?
Yes. Use a Router on the group or type field and give each path its own Add New Row step pointed at a different tab.
What about tickets created before the workflow?
The triggers run on new events only. Export older tickets from Freshdesk once and paste them in, then let the workflow add everything after that.
